«It is what it is: a modest guesthouse. The room was clean, the lounge was not. There was breakfast, but it was modest. The house is quiet. The location is relatively convenient, and very near the promenade.»

«Beautiful area»

«The room we had was super charming and had everything we could possibly need. I got the best night’s sleep of my entire trip while we were there. I would most definitely stay there again if I were in the area again.»

«Well appointed, lovely room, highly recommended.»

«Stunning location, right by the river - lovely views from bedroom and breakfast room. Easy, flexible check-in which was very helpful and breakfast was delicious. There is a lovely pub close by, about a 5 minute walk that did great food and nice wine. Thank you for a lovely stay!»

«Et gammel og litt slitt hotell. Men for et sted. Rett ved havet. Flott frokost for en billig penge. Hadde problem med et vindu og inn kom eieren og fikset og beklaget. Superkoselig betjening.. kommer gjerne igjen. »

«It was basic but clean, bed was comfortable was ideal for what we wanted»

«Great location for a place to stay in Shrewsbury. Abbey Foregte is close enough to the town centre for walking in, but quiet enough for staying. Parking was plentiful at the weekend. Room had everything you needed - plenty of tea & coffee, as well as corkscrew and wine glasses 😉. Would recommend staying here.»

«Property was beautiful. Fixtures & fittings high quality. Parking free and easy access into the Town Centre on foot.»
