Unfortunately cannot recommend. Multiple issues and while there was an offer to make good on 1 issue, the host has stopped responding to messages.
First issue was check in. Listing says 4pm. Based off that, we had dinner reservations at 5:30 about 15 minutes into MKE. I was driving from 2 hours away and family members were coming from 2 hours in another direction. I asked if we could check in early to try to accommodate two toddlers’ nap schedule.
Host replies saying the time is wrong and should show 5 because they have a “media shoot” and the cleaning crew has to go in after. I double check the listing - it shows 4 still. I’m flexible, but we anticipated being able to change and get ready for our reservations.
We get in, find 2 of the 3 beds aren’t made, there’s a fake nail on the floor in 1 room, and a lip gloss applicator on the floor in another…media shoot??
We let the host know the beds aren’t made and she says there was a delay with the dryer but they’ll be back in to make them. She offers to send a gift card towards our dinner (as noted, we never got anything).
I replied that a gift card sounds great and explain some issues we’re seeing like no bathroom towels, toilet flushing issues, and the cleanliness. My goal was to communicate, rather than jumping right to a review, even though by this point my family is urging me to.
She replied about appreciating the feedback and then stopped replying when I followed up on the gift card 3x.
