The house is very close to the park entrance and very convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations etc. The house was very clean and almost like new. «Well taken care of property had all the amenities you could need and thoughtful hosts. We stayed four nights with our dogs and had no issues. It is on a busy road but fully fenced and not a problem for us. Kitchen is very well stocked too. Would definitely stay again if in the area!»

«The Carlson House is a fabulous place to stay! We loved our three nights there and we should have stayed longer! Lou Anne was wonderfully welcoming and very communicative. We enjoyed the hot tub immensely and took full advantage! Mesa Verde has been on my Bucket List for some time, so if you are going to Mesa Verde you must stay at the Carlson House! We loved the welcoming deer on our first night, and the resident cat "Flash" is so loving! We nicknamed him Morris! Everything is magical here!! ...

«The cabin was perfect for my spouse, 17 yo daughter and dog. I loved reading next to the river and having space for my dog to play. The garage door wall of the kitchen opened up the space more and was great having all the fresh air. Kitchen was just right, the bedrooms and beds comfy too! We came up for a wedding and to detress without the fuss and this was a perfect spot. Town was a couple minutes away. Thank you for sharing your space with us!»
