«We had a fantastic stay at the butchers arms.
They were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with another hotel and Andrew and his team couldn’t do enough for us. What a lovely place to stay.
Very clean place. Bed was super comfy had a fantastic nights sleep.
We will definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you Andrew and all the team for looking after us. 😊😊»

«Lovely staff but unfortunately the room is not fit for purpose, food is decent
Was showed room 8 but window broken (35 degree heat) & was given option for room9 a twin.
*hole in floor trip hazard
*curtain didnt open/close properly
*no side lqmp*
*Sheets scratchy
*broken floor tiles en suite
*shower rusty
Was given a fan v grateful for but filthy & throwing off bits, cleaned it but not acceptable»

«Lovely place to stay and staff were so welcoming and helpful. We enjoyd the hearty breakfast. The location is great to travel by train in to Cardiff city centre.
We will return and hopefully arrive earlier to fit in an evening meal - menu looked good.»

«Kel and Mel made us feel very welcome when we arrived. Gave us ideas about what we could do. We enjoyed a day walking along the canal and the next day to a local sites.
The Breakfast was excellent.»

«With so many negative reviews regarding the size of the room, we paid extra for their bigger room. On arrival we received a friendly welcome and were shown to our room. The entrance to the rooms was having a mould problem, so an extractor had been installed and reed diffuser to mask the smell.
The room itself was comfortable, clean, no damp smells which I feared on entry to the block. As expected from previous reviews the bathroom was tiny but that wasn’t a problem… we were here for the ...

«Very clean, spacious room .
Parking is mostly paid just outside the b&b - I think 3 parkings are there so no problem with finding a place.»

«Breakfast was very good and in a lovely peaceful garden.
Staff in the hotel were fantastic, really helpful even under pressure. It was horribly hot the weekend that we were there (unusual for Cardiff) but they did everything possible to make us comfortable with fans (no air-conditioning).»
