"Room was clean and friendly staff but breakfast consisted of only dry cereal, instant oatmeal and store bought bagels and small muffins. Coffee was too strong to drink and there was only 1 table with 4 chairs in the breakfast area (which was taken). We went elsewhere for breakfast."

"What a delightful gem. Parking is tight but the location and the resort were a charm. We listened to music from our balcony while watching boaters in the bay go by."

"I don’t know where to start the broken windows, the broken shades, the deplorable parking lot, the vagrants hanging , out the sketchy reception area, I told the receptionist cancel my reservation and I found suitable lodging."

Blue Heron Cottage is cozy & convenient. Renovated March 2023!
"I stayed at the Blue Heron with my 2 kids (2 and 10) and my large dog. The fenced in large yard was absolutely wonderful to have everyone outside when at the house. I loved the lot - so much space on 3 of the sides without being right on top of another house! The bay view off the side of the house ..."
