«Easy to get to easy check small town feeling»

«The hot tub wasn't filled which wasn't noted when booking. They didn't clean fully because when I pulled the two foot stools away from the sofa bed there was a cough drop, tag of some sort, and a yellow portable plug someone had left behind which indicated they did not clean the floors. Made me feel like the whole room probably wasn't cleaned properly. The Kleenex box was also empty. Also the free breakfast didn't open until 7am opposed to 6am during the week. «fast and friendly check in. Great room quality nice mattress and air conditioning. Well insulated sound walls gave quiet peace, even with boys baseball team running around. Breakfast food is well prepared and plentiful with wonderful assortment of choices. pool in nice for stretching but small for full laps. Temperature was perfect. not too cold or hot.»

The clerk said that he was giving us a newly remodeled room, so I was quite hopeful that it would be our new hotel used for our visits to Comstock Park. «Everything on this property that I saw appeared clean & updated with colorful/pleasing design. Lots of families with children appeared to be enjoying breakfast and the pool, yet the hotel was still quiet. 2 different front desk ladies seemed to be offended that we asked for additional blankets. Each replied, “There is one in your closet”, to which we replied, “There are 4 people in our room”. However, housekeeping was very kind when they brought more blankets. «We stayed at this hotel for a cheer competition because it was recommended due to its proximity to the venue. Unfortunately, the stay was just okay. When we first checked into our room, it had clearly not been cleaned. We took photos and immediately informed the front desk. «Hotel staff was amazing. However, this is more of a long term, live in, motel. Photos on Expedia are very deceiving. Permanent residents can be confrontational and make you uncomfortable. Make sure you have a full inventory of any pool supplies/toys, or you will be accused of stealing from the long term residents. If the listing was actually accurate we definitely would NOT have booked here.»
