«Lovely large property right in town and near to the park. Brendan was very responsive to any requests which made for a relaxing stay. The adorable yellow submarine interior design was great fun. We were warned about the many stairs and they weren’t joking. The one unfortunate surprise was the state of the sofa and chair which were showing their age. All in all a lovely place to stay»

«This is a wonderfully quirky and unique place to stay. The accommodation is just perfect. Hosts Steve and Elaine have created a tranquil and idyllic tiny retreat at Robin Hood Tower. Comms were great and Steve showed us around, sharing local history and top tips for our trip. Canal side walks were glorious. A magical stay.»

«A family get together so 9 of us and our dogs. The house is so spacious and in such an amazing location. We visited during the heatwave in May so we spent a lot of time in the river. There is everything you need and the beds are really comfy. Would highly recommend and would definitely revisit.»

«Excellent cottage in a very good location. Clean and quiet, which was just what we wanted. Hosts were friendly and efficient. Cottage had everything we could have hoped for.»

«Lovely stay»

«Charming pub with spacious accommodation ideal for Penine Way walkers. This traditional hostelry, popular with both locals and visitors, has a great range of well kept ales and hearty meals. Also dog friendly : ) Note that breakfast is not provided but the accommodation has a fully equipped kitchen.»
