«We had a really relaxing time at Robin Hood Tower. It is perfect for walks along the canal but also close to lots of wonderful Derbyshire countryside. Our host Steve was full of helpful information and pointers. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again - in fact we didn’t want to go home! »

«We had a wonderful stay in Matlock Bath at this cottage. It is very well equipped with everything we needed as a family of 6. Our youngest children really loved playing with the toys at the cottage and older ones appreciated the location of where we were staying. We all really enjoyed the local amenities and even managed to find gluten free fish and chips at the Riverside cafe. «A beautiful property with wonderful helpful hosts. This is a lovely place to stay and it’s pet friendly. There are stairs but hey it’s an apartment and not a bungalow. It’s unique and all of my party were very impressed by the decor, furnishings and wonderful location overlooking the river and so close to all that Matlock has to offer. 5* all the way. »

«Clean and well appointed, good location as centre for walking with shops in nearby Matlock. No windows so ventilation only via door at each end. Roof_light blinds in bedroom difficult to shut so early awakening in mid summer.»

«Great find. Was a very comfortable stay with spacious rooms. Parking for one car outside the property and had to find another space on the high street for the other vehicle. Easy location to find in a quiet spot. Would definitely use this place again»

«We loved this super little cottage, the putting green outside was a pleasant surprise, all finished to a super standard. Nice to have supplied tea / coffee, milk and butter - would be nice to have had a nice local fresh loaf to go with the butter... just a thought! Also would be nice to include some board games, pack of cards for evening entertainment. Overall Lynda was so welcoming and we will be back as we have found a nice haven in the Peaks.»
