«One of the most wonderful stays we have had! The property is gorgeous, and there are breathtaking views of the stars at night. The hobbit holes are well-designed and otherworldly. The hosts are extremely gracious, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. If we have the opportunity, we will definitely be staying there again.»

«There's so much good to say about our stay. The accommodations were gorgeous, and so much thought was put into every detail of the room, it was just gorgeous. The property itself was beautiful, and a nice place to hike. Lastly, the breakfast was perfect. They served rustic sheet pancakes which were fluffy and delicious with fruit baked into them. On the side was some honeydew melon and a scramble of polish sausage, onion and apple. Absolutely delicious.»

«We were heading north on a ten day tent camping trip and needed a place to stay for a night where the loaded down truck would be safe over night. So glad we found this place. My 10 year old son and I very much enjoyed the stay and it is as expected, super cool. Staying in a hobbit hole has now been checked of the old bucket list. Definitely recommend staying here and I’m sure we will be back. »

«Such a relaxing time at the Riverhouse! Absolutely gorgeous location right on the Sacramento River. The house, yard and location are all absolutely amazing. All the amenities are right there, including a sauna! Parking is right at the front door. We lacked for nothing. I hope we can get back soon. »

«The location was perfect for us as we explored/adventured on Lake Shasta and in Lassen Volcanic National Park. It was also very quiet and peaceful. The unit had everything we needed, the bed was super comfy, and it was really clean. Check-in/out instructions were clear and very simple. I would definitely recommend this for visitors to this beautiful area who want to be off the beaten path. »
