«We spent a long weekend in this lovely beach house with its modern decor and many facilities. It was well placed in the holiday village near to the pub and shop and path to the beach. The path itself was steep in parts but manageable. There is a lovely walk along the beach to Filey. A wondered stay.»

«The home was just as we hoped. Very clean, modern decorating, new kitchen and bathrooms, heating was warm and working well. We were allowed to bring our dogs, who had a secure back garden to play in. Nothing bad to say, the owners Steve and Carole, were wonderful and responsive. Thank you, we will be coming back!»

«Colton Loft was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities that one would wish, situated in a beautiful quiet village with the helpful host living just next door. The 3 local pubs Plum and Partridge, Carlton Inn and the Fauconberg were all very good. Exploring York was also easy with the use of the excellent Rawcliff Bar park and ride.»

«A very handy location with easy on-street parking right in front of the house. Well-equipped kitchen with complimentary, quality coffee and tea. Clean, up-to-date bathroom and towels with quality complimentary shampoo and shower gels. Comfortable master bedroom (as in photo) with good quality mattress, though the other two bedrooms had much lower beds which had less comfortable mattresses. Overall, accommodation was fine for a family of four, though there was no wardrobe hanging space available ...

«This accomodation has been the best we’ve experienced so far on our trip. The bed was large and comfortable , the living area and kitchen were just right and the bathroom with bath was wonderful . It was lovely and quiet in spite of being close to shops. It was easy walking distance to bus station and pubs. Overall a terrific place to base ourselves whilst exploring Yorkshire. And we loved the heated floors☺️»

«The cottage was perfectly for us, beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, with everything you may need for a stay away from home, from a picnic bag to a slow cooker. The location is perfect.Walking distance to the park and ride for Whitby and a great restaurant and pub across the road. We also took advantage of the lovely bridal paths for walks in the countryside. Jenny the host was very responsive. I would definitely recommend»

«The location is fabulous, the apartment is fantastic and amenities great. The beds were not great, very uncomfortable. They advertise luggage storage and before we checked in they stored our luggage and then took it to our room when the room was ready, that was awesome, but when we asked for luggage storage on our check out we were told we would have to pay. Staff were very friendly and helpful.»
