The Space:

This cozy one-bedroom duplex apartment is thoughtfully designed to offer a comfortable and practical stay in Málaga.



As you enter the apartment, you’ll find the dining area alongside a compact open-plan kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge and freezer, cooking hob, microwave, and all the essentials for everyday cooking, including plates, pans, pots, and utensils. (Please note that the kitchen does not have an oven.)



On this main floor, you’ll also find the bathroom with a shower. Hot water is provided by an electric heater; if several guests use hot water consecutively, it may require some time to reheat.



The apartment features centralized air conditioning on this level and WiFi throughout the entire apartment for your comfort and convenience.



Upstairs, accessed via a spiral staircase, there is an open-plan bedroom with a queen size bed (160x200 cm), an open wardrobe, and the living room with a smart TV allowing you to relax while being at home.. This floor is equipped with a split air conditioning unit. In addition, portable fans are available for extra comfort during warmer days.



Overall, the layout makes this duplex ideal for families or couples looking for a functional and well-located place to stay.



Guest Access:

Guest access is fully autonomous through an electronic key system, allowing for flexible self check-in.



To access the main building, you will need mobile data on your phone, as you will be required to open a link that unlocks the entrance door. Once inside the building, access to the apartment is also provided through an electronic lock system.



Please note that there are no physical keys for this property.



The apartment is located within a residential building with shared common areas, including the main entrance, staircase, and elevator. These facilities are used by both residents and guests staying in the building.



Please note that the elevator is currently out of service, and access to the apartment is therefore only possible via the stairs. However, the apartment is located on the first floor, so only a short flight of stairs is required to reach it.



The Neighborhood:

El Perchel is one of Málaga’s most traditional and authentic neighborhoods, offering a genuine local experience away from the more touristy areas while still being very close to the city’s main attractions.



Known for its history as an old fishermen’s district, today El Perchel is a lively yet residential area where you can enjoy everyday Málaga life. You’ll find a wide range of local shops, supermarkets, bakeries, and cafés, as well as traditional tapas bars alongside more modern options.



The neighborhood is very well connected, with the main train and metro stations nearby, making it easy to reach the airport or explore other parts of the Costa del Sol. Within a radius of less than 2 km, you’ll find three major shopping centers: El Corte Inglés, Vialia – María Zambrano, and Larios Centro, offering extensive shopping, dining, and entertainment options. There is also a laundromat very close by for added convenience during your stay.



Despite its central location, El Perchel maintains a quiet and community-oriented atmosphere, making it an excellent base for visitors who want both convenience and a more authentic stay in Málaga. The historic center is just a short walk away, allowing you to explore the city while returning to a quieter area to relax.



Getting Around:

Due to its location in a residential neighborhood with narrow streets, arriving by car is not recommended. However, if you do choose to come by car, there is a paid public parking facility just 200 meters away (Parking Mena), which offers a convenient alternative.



The apartment is very well connected by public transport. It is close to the main train station (María Zambrano), as well as metro and bus lines, making it easy to reach the airport and explore the city and surrounding areas.



The historic city center is only a 10-minute walk away, allowing you to enjoy Málaga’s main attractions without the need for transport.



Other Things to Note:

The apartment is located in a building with multiple residential units and features a shared entrance, staircase, and elevator. The neighborhood is residential and quiet, so we kindly ask guests to respect neighbours.



Please note that the kitchen does not include an oven, and the water heater is electric, so hot water may be limited depending on usage. Parking in the area is limited and mostly paid (blue zone), so a car is not recommended.
