«The duplex pent house was perfect for our fam of 4. The kids each took the larger two sofa beds and we ordered a rollaway bed for the youngest. The kitchen was nice but basic. There was no tea for the hot water kettle, no coffee for the coffeemaker, only cups, plates, utensils, etc. We loved the big bath and walk in shower. The bed upstairs was comfy but the kids complained that the sofa beds were not. The owner graciously let us check in early thankfully because the luggage closet downstairs ...

«Overall, the stay was comfortable and the place was clean and quiet. The location was convenient, and check-in was easy. However, a few basic items were missing, such as toilet paper and a sponge for cleaning, which made the stay a bit inconvenient. With better attention to these small essentials, the experience would be much improved nice place like that »

«We could not find location in dark and rain. Only given GPS info and no name of hotel or property. Once we arrived guard at guardhouse could not assist as we could not affirm name. When finally able to track down contact info for the vacation property company that listed the rental they had to share hotel front desk info and that’s when we learned name was Windrose On Hudson. Very stressful situation- enjoyed historical location. Great facility, not so great TV/streaming set-up… cable. »

«Eva was an amazing host and an incredible cook! We didn't know what to expect, but the place is beautiful, quiet, comfortable and clean and her hospitality and friendliness above and beyond. It's close to a few towns but also close to a lot of must see nature areas. We would definitely stay there again!»

«Hallway and room had a faint smell of puke. Blood on the bed and bed sheets, pretty worn room. We found hair and dust all over the room including shower and bed. Walls were paper thin and we could hear other guests conversations in the hallway, also heard all sounds from the elevator. A/C was very loud and did not work well. Staff were nice. »
