Luxury Mountain Villa with spectacular views surrounded by pristine forest

Hidden in the lush green mountains of northern Thailand, 30kms from the Burmese and Lao borders, 458m above sea level, lies Chivit Thamma Da Mountain Home, a 7 room Villa surrounded by pristine forest and with spectacular mountain views.

This is the very north of Thailand and during winter the climate is cool and fresh with crystal clear starlit nights. Perfect for evening BBQs and night caps in front of the indoor fireplace.

The villa is approximately 45 min drive north of Chiang Rai Airport, perfectly located to explore nearby attractions of Doi Mae Salong, Doi Tung, Tham Luang Cave, Doi Pha Hee, Chang Moob Army outpost and the Burma border town of Mae Sai.

The Golden Triangle and historic cities of Chiang Saen and Chiang Khong on the Mekong River bordering Lao are also close by.

The villa consists of two main buildings, both of which can be rented individually or together for larger groups.

The Mountain View Villa has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and sleeps eight adults.

The Lake View Villa has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and sleeps five adults.

Extra beds can be provided to accommodate a total of sixteen guests.

Both villas have fully equipped kitchens, large living rooms and outdoor terraces and all amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

Common areas include an evening lounge with a Home Theatre Soundsystem, Darts, Bar Billiards and a 12ft Snooker table. Also, there is a saltwater swimming pool, a lakeside BBQ area, an organic vegetable garden, huge number of local fruit trees and various cozy sitting areas and hammocks spread out throughout the property.

Rates include daily house cleaning and laundry. Maid and gardening staff will be present at the villas during the day and at night a guard will be present at the entrance. Security cameras are mounted outdoors in common areas only and not in any rooms.

The kitchens are stocked with water, soft drinks, coffee and teas, free of charge. Supermarkets are available in Chiang Rai and nearby Mae Chan and a 7-11 is 5min away in the local village. Upon request, food and drinks can be ready on arrival.

Via our Bistro in Chiang Rai, we offer full in-house catering including breakfast, picnic baskets, BBQs and romantic moonlit sit-down dinners.

Both villas have well stocked bars. Menus with prices are available at the kitchen area.

The villas have a library, a huge DVD collection and various types of board games for Guests entertainment.

The villas have high speed Wi-Fi, and all TVs are connected to internet.

Villas have TVs with pre-set up Netflix, YouTube and Spotify. Guests can of course also use their own accounts.

Each villa has a JBL speaker.

22kwh type 2 charger is available at the parking area. Further electrical outlets are also available for guests using their own charger. All charging is free of charge.

We have a beautiful lake on the property, perfect for spending romantic afternoons in our teak rowing boat. There’s plenty of fish in the lake and we have equipment available for you to borrow. Staff can help with bait and advice.

The area has wonderful mountain trails for jogging or walking. Please ask the staff for guidance. Please make sure you bring your phone and plenty of water!
