Veldig sentralt
Veldig sentral beliggenhet og hjelpsom betjening. Airkondisjon kunne virke bedre. Varmt på rommet og kjente ikke noe avkjøling fra den.

Bra hotell med gode fasiliteter
Sentrumsnært hotell med kort avstand til mange av de store severdighetene. Bra betjening og gode fasiliteter. Flotte rom. Noe støy, men det er noe man må ta med i beregningen for å bo i sentrum av en by som aldri sover.

Centrally located in pedestrian zone. Metro station in front of the hotel. Major attractions are within walking distance. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Madrid.

Excelente ubicación, inmejorable. Eso lo diferencia, todo queda a pie inmediato y a pasos del metro del SOL, Limpieza excelente y el personal también. Las habitaciones limpias, muy básicas. El baño remodelado, lindo. Es ruidoso, por la zona donde está. Es decir se oyen conciertos, cuando instalan de los restaurantes sus mesas y el día a día en la madrugada. De ahí en fuera, todo muy bien!

The rooms were cold dark because of the sudden change in the temperature. Also dark since barely any sunlight. However, they were remodeled. The hallways were not updated and kept their age and so did the hotel overall particularly the lobby.

We enjoyed staying at this property, except for the continual noise from the street that seldom ceased before 3 a.m. Also be aware that motor transport is not allowed in the neighborhood after 11 a.m. Therefore, we had to drag our bag the 3 blocks from where the cab could let us off. Not a deal breaker, but still annoying. The staff was quite helpful and we noted that there was quite a remodel taking place. They care about their image.

We were very disappointed in this hotel, it really set a bad mood for our entire trip. We had no idea to start that taxis can't arrive at the hotel past 11 am, so we were droppped off 4 blocks away and had to walk with all our luggage. EVERY morning at 9 am our power went out! The room is described as sound proof, it is NOT! We had to listen to street loud cleaning outside the room every night and folks in the square all night. We got very poor sleep. The hotel other than transportation is well located near shopping. The staff tried thier best but after we were locked out of our room, because the key reader failed, I think they gave up also. The room was clean but the outlets didn't hold our converters well, they are not recessed so we had to prop them up, and the utility plates kept coming off the walls. We did request another room and were told no. The restaurant is not good and very over priced, not worth eating at. This stay was really was a bad point of our vacation.

The staff is highly professional and very customer service oriented. The room was very clean. The breakfast buffet was good. The location is amazing - central, walkable, perfect (but expect noise from the nearby square and streets below at night).

The AC didn’t work, I had to leave the balcony door open and that resulted in lack of sleep since it is quite noisy outside. The bathroom smelled a bit like sewer. The location and restaurant was fantastic, but they need to let their guests use the AC, even when it’s cold outside, Puerta Del Sol is very busy and the clock is a bit loud and sounding off every hour, good thing I brought some Nyquil.

When I travel, location is everything. Obviously also clean and safe, but then add a bit of luxury and a lot of authentic and helpful people, this is really a great place! You are 30 seconds around the corner to the plaza and Sol Metro entrance. There are shops, sights and amazing neighborhoods in all directions. Every night as we returned from sightseeing and exploring, we went to the restaurant for a snack and a glass of wine. The food is delicious— try the croquetas caseras. The team there is extra special. They welcome you like you just returned home. Our waiter Jhonny was especially wonderful— so nice, personal, and professional. We stayed only a few days but at this hotel, we felt the people were like family.

This is a basic hotel but clean and there is nothing wrong with it. The location is fantastic and I really liked the cafe downstairs. Good and not expensive and the staff are excellent

This is a conveniently located hotel in the middle of the action. It was quite noisy at night, even though it was off-season and a weeknight. I heard outdoor noise from the plaza until 3 am. The trade off was that it was entertaining to watch people from my balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I loved that I could store my luggage, since I arrived early in the day.

Horrible experience !!
Check in supposed to start frim 2 pm . I arrived at 3 pm and had to wait one hour for my room . I asked for a double room and got a twin room . Not impressed. We are in winter and the air conditioning was on insread of the heating . I turned on the heating and dod not work . I called reception and they sent someone to check the heating . After abother 30 min. The room was colder than when i arrived . I called thek again and after 15 min. They called me back saying they will change the room . Agaon the new room had a twin bed and not a double as i especially specifidd in my original booking . The onmy good thing of my stsy was the view of the centre of Madrid . To finalise i wanee dro take a shower the day of my depparture and the water was completely cold . Not hot aater or even warm water . There were repairs throughout my stay as well. Overall it was a horrible experience and it was not cheap at all . I paid 400 euros for 2 nights. Would not recommend this hotel and for sure will not stay in Hotel Europa again

Super Lage
Perfekte Lage, sehr zentral. Guter Preis. Das Hotel ist einfach, aber sauber, das Personal freundlich. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, man hört, wenn die anderen Hotelgäste auf's Klo gehen... Im Zimmer war es zu warm zum Schlafen und man konnte die Klimaanlage auf minimal 19°C einstellen, allerdings hatte sie zu wenig Power, um die gewünschte Temperatur zu erreichen. Aber alles in allem waren wir zufrieden mit dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Würden das Hotel für wenige Nächte wieder auswählen.

I LOVE this hotel! This was my 2nd stay at the Hotel Europa. The staff is wonderful and very attentive. Everyone speaks English which makes it easier. The rooms are great and beds very comfortable. The bathrooms are amazing- the best I have had in Europe. This is a top notch boutique style hotel in a fantastic location right off the Puerto Del Sol square.
