Nuestra estadía en el Holiday Inn fue para acomodarnos mejor al jet Luck antes de empezar nuestras vacaciones en Europa. No esperábamos mucho de encontrar nada interesante nos alrededores, aún así tuvimos el gusto de ir a una calle de restaurantes y bares en Coslada donde la pasamos bien comimos muy rico y pagamos muy poco. El personal y el Hotel en sí es exactamente lo que uno espera de un Holiday Inn.

The staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast was very good the first day, but the second day it wasn’t as good. Complimentary breakfast is always a plus though. The rooms were clean and updated. It is close to the airport, but not as close as I thought it would be. Taxis are expensive into Madrid, so we learned the public transportation the other two days. A lot cheaper and just as quick.

This hotel does a great job. The hotel was clean and nice. The staff was very helpful; particularly Martha who worked in the evening. She was very nice and helpful and made us feel very welcomed. The restaurant food was delicious as well.

The hotel is only 14 months old. It very tastefully modern. The food at dinner was very good. They have contracted to an outside company. Breakfast bar was also good. Convenient to airport with shuttle.

The hotel is in an area where there’s no easy public transportation to the airport. A car ride takes less than 10 mins but public transit takes more than an hour. The hotel itself is clean and nice.

PROS: Very quiet, clean, good bed, nice staff, full breakfast for free. And there is a commercial shuttle available for 5 eu/person. CONS: It is 14 miles from the Madrid airport, not 1.9 as stated in the property description, so our very late night cab was over 30 eu! Also, our room did not have any seating at all, just a bed and cupboards for storage.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport and shuttle service to the airport. They don’t specify that It doesn’t stop at the hotel front door. You have to walk a block to get it. We had 5 suitcases. It would have been better for us to get a taxi.

The hotel is a cheap alternative to the hotels in the centre. The rooms are new, quiet, with a comfortable bed and very clean. The staff is very friendly. It is easy to get to the centre of Madrid, the bus stops are a 2 minute walk from the hotel and cost 1.50/2€ each way. The green buses go to the centre of Madrid, back to the hotel you take the metro L5 (to Alameda de Osuna) to Canillejas and then the blue bus line 88 to the stop Avenida de Aragón Parque Empresarial Pegaso (again directly at the hotel). Attention: last departure of bus 88 is 21.22 hrs! If you can't make the bus, it doesn't matter, because a taxi journey via the Cabify app only costs €6-7. It's definitely worth downloading the app and getting the red card for the bus and metro from the machine at the metro stations, which you can top up with 10 journeys. I had a great stay and didn't find these connections to be inconvenient.
