Overall pretty good stay
Front desk was very helpful and friendly. Overall the hostel is clean and well maintained. The room doesn’t have a table which is not very convenient. The location is okay, closes to metro stations. The neighborhood is funky and I don’t feel very too safe walking alone.

The door system wasn’t as complex as other reviews had made it out to be. If you do it once, you’ll get it. The location was perfectly located in a young, locals neighborhood Lavapiés and everything you want to do is within a 20 minute walk. The hosts were kind, helpful, and most importantly, fun.

Good hostel - if your dorm is not on noisy street
I chose this hostel because the nearby hotel was unable to extend my stay by a night. It is clearly a good and well-run hostel, and it offers a good breakfast and free hot drinks all day. The only problems was that my dorm gave directly on to a very noisy road.

Great location. Good hostel.
Great hostel. Centrally located so it is very easy to explore the major attractions of Madrid by foot. Decent ammenities for a hostel. Our only problem was that it was a bit noisy being directly under the rooftop but this closed before 11 so you can get a good nights sleep.

Reasonable for the price
The hostel itself was nice and had a good atmosphere and staff were quite nice. The rooftop patio was nice. Our room was small, with two twin beds, but air-conditioning was a bonus. Our room did not have a bathroom, and we had access to dorm style toilets and showers. Overall, the room was what we expected and was reasonably priced, but we would have preferred an ensuite.

My stay at the Living Mad Hostel
My stay at the Living Mad Hostel was great, the service was excellent, the location was on point, the rooms were spacious and clean. The bathrooms could be improved with storage spaces for clothes and shower bags, it was kind of a struggle to store my clothes in a dry place in the bathroom. All in all, the hostel is a great place for travellers!

Gutes Hostel mit zentraler Lage und ordentlichem Frühstück. Aber was schade ist dass keine handtücher bereitgestellt werden sondern nur gegen Aufpreis 3€ und wenn man sein Gepäck abgibt um es später mitzunehmen kostet es 2€.

Lovely location with even lovelier staff. Cannot think of a single fault in this hostel. The staff were tirelessly helpful and patient. Would stay again without second thought.

Localização excelente. Próximo das paradas do onibus expresso aeroporto madrid-barajas. Desci na plaza de cibelles e fui andando. Aprox 1km e uma região bem agradavel, cheia de bares e td mais.O ponto negativo fica pelo barulho fora do quarto e pelo fato do banheiro ser fora do quarto tb. O quarto eh bem pequeno, mas possui ar condicionado.

You are not safe on their pub crawl. Keep an eye on your bag at all times as things get stolen and then people try to take advantage. The hotel does not do anything about these situations. Stay safe, don't travel alone here.

Good for very young, not older, people
Located centrally although the directions on how to get there were confusing. Bathroom doir didn't work well and took much effort to open. Breakfast was OK, but not great. Lots of very young people so nouse level very high, especially since allowing people access at all hours. Definitly a place for the very young, parting, crowd, not so for older people!

The place is clean. Breakfast was disappointing but free so can I complain? They charge to store bags (1 Euro, I think...) which isn't TOO much but kinda miserly. The vending machines don't tell you how much their products cost. The lift is kind of hidden. The key system is confusing and difficult to use.

Good hostel near city centre and metro station
This hostel is the best choice, when you only stay here for overnight. Staff is OK as a breakfast. For this price is it a good hotel.

보안이 철저한 호스텔
약간 골목에 있다고 느낄 수 도 있는데, 그래도 솔광장 근처라 걸어다닐만 해요. 한 10분 이내로 솔광장에 도착했던 것 같네요. 샤워시설이 약간 불편하긴 했는데, 뭐 그정도는 다 쓸 수 있습니다. 여기 가장 마음에 들었던 점은 보안이 철저합니다. 카드키하나 주는 걸로 로비에서 객실층 이동할 때 한 번, 방 문 열때 한 번, 방에 개인 락커여는데 한 번 사용됩니다. 락커가 28인치인데도 억지긴 했지만 들어갔어요. 처음이었네요... 그거 넣은거... 구조상 객실입장한 로비에서 시끄럽게 하면 온 건물이 시끄러워져서 소음문제가 있긴 한데, 전반적으로 생활을 하면서 호스텔로 감수해야할 범위를 넘는 불편사항은 없었어요.

Living Mad and leaving Mad
La zona è veramente perfetta, in pieno centro di Madrid. L'Hostel è anche molto carino, peccato stanze piccolissime e un po' polverose. I bagni mi avevano fatto una buona impressione all'inizio, ma poi li ho trovati spesso sporchi (ovviamente a causa degli ospiti che stavano lì). L'Hostel è adatto ai giovani che so vogliono divertire avendo a disposizione party gratis.

Great mix of guests from all over the world!
I was welcomed warmly and because I already arrived in the morning (check-in from 14:00 h) i could store my luggage and checked out the City. When i came back the room was ready: a mixed bedroom for six persons with three bunk beds - very tiny (not even space enough to fall over), but with lockers (enough space for a huge backpack) and a good aircondition. I was lucky with my roommates (no snoring) and I liked it really chilling out at the common area in the Basement (where also breakfast is served & nice Sofas there)... also really great the rooftop terrace and bar! What's more I joined in two Walking tours through Madrid (they are free, you only pay tips) and there i got to know a lot about Madrid - really interesting! I also liked the breakfast which was quite good for the price.
