«The price value was incredible- it a camping site with not really impressive looking cabins, the stay turned out fantastically both due to the accuracy communication on what was most important- the beach and the kangaroos. «Mackay is not the center of the world, and the city has clearly suffered after Covid with a lot of store closures etc. It also doesn’t have the big tourist streams as larger Australian cities have. Seeing the selection of hotels, we chose to stay at the Ocean International as it is situated beautifully at the beach with a wonderful garden. «Opposite a beachside park this motel is extremely comfortable, spacious and very relaxing after a long day of driving. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in in the last 10 days road tripping in NSW and Qld. I had the best night's sleep since leaving home.»
