Amazing place to stay in the heart of the rocks

«Pictures were misleading. It took me back to my student days with furniture sourced from 2nd hand shops - the wardrobes were ancient and the inside smelt of mold - we could not use them, as clothes would have smelt.Overall the house was grubby, the carpets should have been removed years ago as they were marked and threadbare.For a 3 bedroom house, the bathroom was tiny with a sink, toilet and shower squeezed into a tiny space - no bigger than an old telephone box.We were woken each day by ...

"Good hotel. I had a room on the 27th floor with a decent view. I only stayed two nights, so didn't use the spa facilities or the on-site restaurant/bar. Comfy bed and fairly clean, although you can tell the rooms are a bit on the older side. My only real complaint is that no free bottled water is provided. This is stock standard for hotels in this price range, and definitely not worthy of a 5 star property."

"Paradox Sydney is a nice hotel in a very convenient location in the Sydney CBD, with under ten minutes walk to Circular Quay and the Opera house. The rooms are fairly spacious and the bed is comfortable. It's nice that the bathrooms have both a shower and a tub, however I didnt use the tub. The bar/restaurant downstairs have good food and drinks. The people are friendly and serviceminded, but it can be a bit slow at times. I had to wait ten minutes for a beer. The spa has a pool, jacuzzi and steamroom which were all quite nice. Beware there is construction going on just on the other side of the road from the hotel. They're building a new metro station, and I assume that's gonna take a few years to complete. I stayed on the other side of the building, but you could still hear the noise. I assume it will be much louder on the side facing directly towards the construction site. Would I stay again? Yes, if I were guaranteed a room on the quieter side of the building."
