«This is a great motel. If you are staying in Lunenburg and dont want to blow your budget or dont care of being in proper downtown, stay here. It is 5 minutes away from downtown and next to Independent Grocery store and also a gas station. You get your own cottage and can park right in front of it. The room is very spacious and very clean. «The property is well situated on the main street in Mahone Bay near the harbour, restaurants, shopping and the Town Bandstand. The property itself was lovely with beautiful gardens. We stayed in the upper level of the coach house. It was very well appointed with a maritime aesthetic. It had all of the necessities in a full functioning kitchen. Very clean and spacious with cathedral ceiling. It was our favorite accommodation on our road trip from Toronto to Halifax. Highly recommend.»

«The rooms need to be updated and renovated. The curtains are so worn the sun shines through. They are not hung properly and I needed to use a clip to keep them together, while making sure they were closed on each end. The bathroom is old. The breakfast area is too small for the number of people who stay. At times there was no place to sit and enjoy what was an okay breakfast.
