«We love this hotel ! It was exceptional! The food was good and the place was kept so clean and lovely. Everything was so convenient! The pool was great and there was a washroom, a change room and a warm shower right near the pool! (Can’t say the same for the Alt airport hotel’s pool area!»

«When we arrived we had to wait 10-15min before someone showed up to check us in. Once we entered the building the smell of cigaret was the first thing that came to our face. The room itself could have been ok if it wasn’t for the big lack of cleaning. Cap of toothpaste stuck in the sink, spots of something in the sink (blood or something reddish), stains here and there on the sheets and the bed covers. «This property exceeded expectations! It was so fantastic to thoroughly enjoy the quiet getaway in such cozy surroundings. The little extras (variety of teas, plump cushions, cozy throws, reading lamp and corner chair) really made us feel pampered. We enjoyed the sauna, short walk to the Main Street and variety of restaurants. Theses owners are experts in hospitality.»

«The view of the harbour from our room was great and the location to restaurants etc was very good. On street parking was hard to find. Room was very dated which I sort of expected. Linens need to be replaced and washed more effectively and area carpet was stained and tired. Breakfast at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Room came equipped with milk and creamers in the fridge as well as real glasses and mugs instead of paper and plastic. Nice touch.»

«We looked out at the Bluenose sailboat from our room. We had a very high four post king bed that we used the stool provided to climb into. It was a quaint room with all the necessities needed for an overnight stay. We had a delicious meal at restaurant below.»

«The motel is very cute with a lovely location on the Minas Basin. The rooms have been renovated and are functional. It's great to have a mini fridge, kettle, coffee maker, and microwave. We had an issue with our unit being double booked. The attendant on the helpline was doing her absolute best to address the issue but it took a while and was frustrating. It would have been nice if the owners has been more responsive. The other guest were very quiet and respectful. It was lovely to watch the ...
