«PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT. Excellent lakefront property. Hoise is well loved and cared for. Very clean. Plenty of outdoor area to run around. The penisula is a great spot for morning sunrises and catching some photos of loons. Many kayaks to enjoy time on the lake, laumch right fromt the beach. Plenty of indoor activities as well. The owners thought of everything when preparing the home for vacationers. There was not one time cooking that we didnt have what we needed. Kitchen is well stocked ...

We enjoyed walking to the Lubec Brewing Company and local shops. I would recommend that visitors bring their passports as the bridge to Campobello Island is so close! «The shoreline here is really beautiful, with rugged rocks and boulders and sea cliffs. The views from the cottage are lovely. The kitchen is well stocked. A very nice coffee pot! Views from the main bedroom are great. Cottage is rounded by beautiful evergreens and there is a set of rocking chairs where you can enjoy the view. A walk down the shore brings you to caves in one direction and a rocky beach in the other direction. Machias is a great town with a terrific brewpub and Helen’s for pie!»

All ended up working out as planned and it was a fantastic stay. The place was as described and as expected.
