«This is a very good place for two couples or families with two pre teen children. It’s in a somewhat hilly, but walkable neighborhood with locally owned restaurants and cafes nearby. It’s a two mile walk or drive to the heart of the Old Port, and the locally renowned Becky’s Diner is about a half mile away. Please note that there’s one bathroom and it’s on the second floor, which requires climbing a flight of stairs. There’s on street parking, which we were lucky to find spaces nearby.»

«Arriving at Orchid Harbor and taking in the view, sound, and smell of the ocean across the lawn makes all of the daily stresses of the mainland melt away. The century old house is charming, welcoming, and comforting. It feels like you are staying with good friends or family. With all of the living spaces, it feels roomy and cozy at the same time and wraps around you like a hug. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked.
