St. Peter and St. Paul Church , Long Compton, near to Long Compton, Warwickshire, Great Britain. It is believed that St. Augustine preached on this site in 597AD. The present building dates from the 13th century, with significant additions and alterations over the years. Long Compton church, east end, near to Long Compton, Warwickshire, Great Britain. Regularly passed on the A34 before the coming of the M40, Long Compton is now a much quieter village. Walkers lunches are sometimes provided in the church at weekends.

A beautiful converted barn in lovely, quiet surroundings away from the madding crowds of Bourton and Stow. Janey was also very quick to respond to any minor queries we had before and during our arrival. Beds very comfortable!
