Stille og rolig område. Kort vei til det meste. Hotellet er under oppussing så mye støy på dag tid. Små rom. Dårlig frokost med veldig lite utvalg av det meste.

Bra opphold!
Rent og ryddig, varm velkomst. Gode senger, pent bad med badekar. Kald trekk fra vinduer. Frokost burde vært bedre og med minst en varmrett på et 4 stjerners hotell. Men alt i alt et bra hotell!

Enkelt og nedslitt hotell. Litt rot ved innsjekking, virket ikke som om resepsjonen hadde helt oversikt over bestillingen. Rommet var lite, og det var ikke plass til koffertene på gulvet. Badet var stort med både badekar og dusjnisje. Lekkasje fra kran i badekar som hadde misfarget innsiden av badekaret. Flisene på badegulvet var sprukket, og det piplet vann opp da vi tro på disse. Det manglet speil og lys over vasken - ledningene stakk ut fra veggen og var teipet sammen. Vindu på bad manglet lås, slik at dette blåste opp og gjorde badet iskaldt. Det positive var gode senger, godt trykk i dusjen, rolig beliggenhet og kort vei til Victoria Station. Personalet var vennlige, selv om de absolutt kunne vært mer serviceminded.

This hotel was so beautiful and comfortable! They were so accommodating to my disabled grandmother, who is in a wheelchair, making sure she had a room on the ground floor. The reception staff were so friendly and kind, they made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, plenty of plugs to charge devices, and it is a fantastic location near Victoria station for access to the rest of London. We would absolutely stay here again.

What I DID NOT LIKE is that I booked a room with a double or queen bed as it was showing on the photo, for a single person. Then when I got there, the reception person gave me the smallest room I have ever seen in my life, it was like a prison cell, or smaller, with the smallest single bed next to the dirty wall. The receptionist was very unpleasant, and unfriendly, she should absolutely not be working at the front desk of any business with that attitude. I ignored her attitude, but my friend who came to meet me from far away, happed to be with me during my checking in, and she later commented how rude the reception person was I thought was just my perception, but it was actually very obvious and deliberate. Later, after I spent an hour in the "prison" like room, and went back to my booking, where I clearly booked a double bed with double pillows, I went back to reception to ask for a bigger room. Even thought I was only going to stay there overnight, I could not sleep in that room, and I did not pay cheep price for the room either. So, luckily the next receptionist fro the night shift was absolutely lovely and she agreed that according to my booking I did not book a single bed. I would NEVER book a single bed. She validated that my room was extremely small, and not appropriate, and she gave me a decent room. That lady, the one who worked the night shift should be the front face of the hotel, professional, pleasant, and with excellent attitude. She should be promoted!

Don’t fall for the pics like I did. The room was very tiny. The room I chose was to have two twin beds, however there was no room between them. The room was so small, I had to place my suitcase on the floor in front of the door while my daughter used the area directly in front of the bathroom. The Hallway was also small and extremely narrow. Floors are very uneven. This place must have been built with Hobbits in mind as guests. Would definitely never stay here again. For the price there are far better options in London. False advertising, shame on you Tophams.

Cozy room and great location
We had a lovely time at Tophams hotel. The room was super cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The only “complaint” we have is that there was this intermittent noise all day and night long (I think it was the heater working on and off), but we would turn on the white noise in our phones and sleep like babies. Thank you for your hospitality!

In einem ruhigen Viertel nahe der Victoria Station liegt das charmante Hotel Tophams. Neu renoviert, schöne Zimmer, nettes Personal und ein sehr grosses Frühstücksbuffet. Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gefallen und können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Super Hotel mit toller Lage
Wir (2 Familien) haben unser London Wochenende hier verbracht. (4 Zimmer, 8 Erwachsene) Bei der Buchung war ich ein bisschen skeptisch, da sehr viele negative Bewertungen im Internet zu finden sind. Das Hotel tritt jedoch in einem ganz neuen Glanz auf. Mit viel Charm, viel Liebe zum Detail, neuen Zimmern und einem sehr reichhaltigen Buffet wird man hier willkommen geheissen. Die Superior Zimmer sind für britische Verhältnisse gross. Die Lage ist super. Toller Ausgangspunkt, ruhig und gleich bei der Victoria Station! Bewertungen, die vor 2023 verfasst wurden, können Sie ohne Problem ignorieren. Wir kommen wieder ;)

The location was great - easy walk to plenty of London action. And the hotel is cute as heck. Room was a little small compared to American standards but this is London. Big city with space constraints in an old building. So enjoy the quaint experience and enjoy the lovely stay at Tophams! The lobby will make you want to hang for a bit before going out the door to explore.

I liked how close this property was to public transport! I loved the towel warmers in the bathroom and their continental breakfast was great ! The rooms are a bit small but I thought it was cozy! Highly recommend!

The property was in a very nice, walkable location to restaurants, shopping and the Underground. It felt safe, although our door chain lock didn’t function. It was quite small and cramped, yet well-decorated and appointed. The staff was kind and professional. There was an extended fire alarm that woke us up in the early morning hours of our first two days, yet no explanation nor apology was offered, and we were left to assume all was well until we asked and were told that an appliance had set them off. It would have been helpful to let guests know why the alarm went off accompanied by a simple acknowledgement and apology for the abrupt and extended loud alarm. It was startling and unsettling to have been awakened like that, and caused us some anxiety knowing if we were safe.

Tophams is a lovely boutique hotel. The rooms are on the smaller size but well kept and comfortable. The staff were outstanding and were always willing to assist in whatever way needed.
