Average hotel but what let it down was: a) the check-in filling out forms when all provided at time of booking. Reception taking photos of credit cards with personal phones is risky and not standard. b) after asking 3 times with 2 different reception staff to get the heater turned off in my room (roasting) as the controls did not work on the radiator. Nothing happened and not fixed over a couple of days

All guests need to fill out a registration form on arrival or before. No photos are taken on personal phones, the phone used is a business phone, also a picture of the card would only be taken if the booking and the payer are two different names. This is for fraud protection. I apologise for the radiator not being fixed during your stay. I do hope you give us another try.

Thank you for your feedback. All of our guest do an on-line check in which the guest has the preference of completing before arrival to make their check in smoother for them. Staff are not playing on their phone, we have a work mobile that is used to confer with other guests at other properties. Unfortunately you have decided to stay anonymous so we cannot make sure you receive a quieter room in the future should you wish to try us again.

Overall experience was good… wanted to get the sheets on the bed changed but the room service said since we’ve only been there one night there will do so the next day but the never did. There was a leak from the ceiling in our room (we were in a room upstairs) and we had to put towels on the floor and the counter. Now we would have told someone but the reception was closed early for the night so we just dealt with it as this occurred on on our last night.

De ligging was heel goed. Het hotel zelf was vreselijk. De bedden moeten nodig vervangen worden, de verwarming kon niet uit dus was het erg heet. Wij hebben geen service gehad. Diverse malen naar beneden gemoeten om toilet papier en handdoeken te halen.

Bedankt voor je feedback. Er wordt elke 4-5 dagen service verleend, aangezien uw verblijf bij ons slechts 3 nachten was, zou uw kamer niet zijn schoongemaakt. Tijdens uw verblijf kreeg u echter schone handdoeken en afvalverwijdering, evenals extra toiletrollen. Wat de verwarming betreft, is het aan de gast of hij of zij de radiatoren in hun kamer hoger of lager wil zetten.

Fijne dagen.
We hebben een prima tijd gehad alles wat we nodig hadden we. We hadden zelf een koffiekan en vilters mee genomen. We moesten we wennen aan het geluid wat vooral in het weekend uit de bar kwam daar werden wij een paar keer wakker van. Maar verder hebben wij een geweldige tijd gehad. Het is ook op een prima locatie wij hebben alles lopen of met het openbaar gedaan.

Clean but no ideal for a good nights sleep
Clean and good size rooms. Bed uncomfortable and could hear TV’s through the walls. Above floor was creaky so noisy. Windows opened onto outside corridor do need not feel safe leaving open.fridge noisy so switched off.

Decent price for London and nice big room. would have been better with more tea and coffee provided as we soon used up all the milk with 3 of us sharing. first morning there was no hot water but fixed for the second day so I assume it was a temporary issue, the rest of the bathroom was fine. No air con but again it wasn't advertised so cant complain. Sheets were clean, bed was comfy and pillows also comfy. Decor needs redoing in some places and a decent sized wardrobe would be good. For the price it ticked the boxes but its not a place i would go to impress - simply as a cheap and relatively clean (bedding and towels seemed clean - not so sure about the carpet) place to get some sleep

unfortunately the boiler had dropped pressure, which occasionally happens with all boilers, the boiler was put right in the morning. Your stay with us was for 1 night only, so your statement does not make sense.

You booked a triple room which means 3 single beds. You would have needed to book a family room to accommodate 4 people.

Will not stay again
I would like to give 2 ratings. The lady on reception was excellent. Very helpful and friendly. However the apartment was shabby, had a distinct smell of damp, the sheet on the bed didn’t even cover the mattress meaning you were partially sleeping on a bare mattress & the pillows were made of cotton candy and disintegrated upon contact with your head. The man on reception in the evening was extremely unhelpful and couldn’t provide an additional bed sheet or pillows. The apartment was also very shabby, threadbare carpet exposing gripper rods, broken bedside lamps and insufficient crockery and cutlery for 2 guests.

I am sorry for your experience, unfortunately we had a problem with our linen service at the time of your stay, this would not normally happen. We can supply extra pillows if available, we will look into the other issues you have raised.

Friendly and helpful staff at reception. Room was clean but overall condition of the room was poor and noise was a problem - on the plus side free private parking was available. The issues for improvement were loose and smashed tiles on kitchenette floor, noise from comb boiler in room every time neighbouring rooms used hot water, noisy road outside due to single glazed window, noisy fridge which we just switched off overnight and back on before leaving, neighbouring rooms were very noisy and some sound proofing needs to be considered - the people weren’t noisy, just the fact you could hear everything they said and their TV. We just wanted a bed for the night to attend an nearby event and we slept OK once the neighbouring rooms and traffic quietened down after midnight.

Some of the rooms are smaller than others, which means the bathrooms will be smaller. Had you come to reception during your stay, we would have done our best to move you to another room.

Friendly and helpful staff. The room was good value with many amenities but with no shower screen/curtain, so I had to use most of the towels for mopping the floor as I didn't have time for a bath.
