Et veldig hyggelig og sentralt hotell, med kort vei til undergrunnsbane og busser. Fint nabolag og stille, selv med vindu ut mot gaten. Har bodd her én gang tidligere og like fornøyd begge gangene. Hyggelig og flink personale, grei frokost og bra renhold. Litt hard seng. Rommet var veldig varmt (august), men det var bordvifte på rommet, som hjalp veldig. Kommer gjerne igjen!

Tight but cozy!
The room was quite small but just enough for one person. Clean, modern and quiet. The breakfast was alright, nothing fancy but they also have a breakfast menu to order. The hotel is located in a very nice and calm area super close to several tube stations. Would probably book this property again!

Hotellet ligger praktisk til både i forhold til tog (Paddington) , busser og Undergrunn. Mitt rom var utmerket, god seng og greit baderom. Hyggelig betjening i resepsjonen. Kan anbefales!

Prisgunstig hotell med hyggelig betjening, greie rom og veldig praktisk beliggenhet. Få minutter til både Bayswater og Queensway t-banestasjoner. Ganske lytt mellom rommene. Rommene er små, men langt fra det minste jeg har vært borti i London og de har en grei planløsning. Bodde der 4 netter på enmannsrom. Bra frokost.

3-5 min å gå til tubene Bayswater og Queensway som er et godt utgangspunkt for sentral London. Godt med alternativer til mat i nærheten av hotellet. Greit rom som var relativt nyoppussa, reint, harde senger, sliten heis, grei frokost, god service.

Nice hotel close to Bayswater tube station and small shopping street with pubs and restaurants. Reasonable walking distance from west end of Oxford Street shopping (Marble Arch), but even easier if walking to Queensway tube station and taking Central Line a few stops east. Also not far from Portebello Road/Notting Hill area. The hotel itself is nice with good staff. Rooms quite good but no AC (at least not in my room). But I kept the window open without problems (area seemed quiet). The bar the nice with nice areas to sit down. The breakfast is also good with a good selection.

I had an unfortunate medical emergency while staying at the Phoenix Hotel. The staff was very quick to come to my aid which relaxed me. I felt like I was with family. They got me to the hospital where I am now recovering. The hotel is saving me a room where I can recover for the next few days before my flight back to America. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. This is my third stay there and every time has been outstanding.

My room was ready early, which was great. Reception staff were nice and there was no charge to store luggage before checkin or after checkout. I was in a single, which was a tight fit but had everything I needed. It was an economical use of space. The room seemed to have been renovated recently and everything was clean and new. There were some oddities in the bathroom: the shower controls were so fancy, they weren’t labeled, so I spent 5 minutes trying to figure out which directions were hot and cold. Shower door already didn’t seal properly. The faucet wasn’t big enough for the sink so it was hard to wash my hands. The mattress felt a bit old and stiff but was otherwise comfortable. Window opened a decent amount for some fresh air. I got free breakfast with my booking. Convenient walking distance from a couple Tube stops. I had a nice stay.
