Første rommet de ville sende oss til var ikke som bildet, etter en lang diskusjon og 1-2 timers venting fikk vi en ok rom. Sengetøyet ble skiftet 1 gang av de 7 dagene vi var der, selvom vi hadde informert resepsjonen og vaskedamene om å skifte.

Ligger nærme togstasjonen. Litt uhyggelig nabolag hvor noen ved togstasjonen seksuelt trakaserte oss. Rommet var rent og bra, men var ganske varmt og trangt. Senga var ikke så deilig men fikk sove greit nok

Kommer gjerne tilbake
Er du i London , vil bo billig og bruke 30.min.på undergrunn til sentrum er dette hotellet helt OK.Ett hotell for overnatting med bra engelsk frokost.Rent og ryddig hver dag,men kunne hatt større skap-plass og flere kleshengere..noe personalet ikke kunne skaffe ( ?? )! Ett Oyster-card for buss og undergrunn er ett "must" ! Satte pris på det var lovlig å bruke E-sigarett på rommet..viktig for oss røkere ! Anbefales for de som ikke setter altfor store krav...

Check-in was complicated as e-mail warning of the £50 up-front deposit and need for photo ID was sent to junk mail. Parking is advertised as included in the price, when it’s available on a first come, first served basis and there are only TWO spaces! Bed was not comfortable, only 1 pillow and that felt like resting your head on a patio slab!! On the plus side it was exceptionally cheap and I guess you get what you pay for.

I booked with this Hotel but they sent me to Best Western... I paid with Continental Breakfast but when i got my slip it as no breakfast i even show the reception that stated in my booking...This twice already happened to me so avoid this 2 hotels at all cost. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED

Das zimmer war sehr heruntergekommen und von schimmel befallen, es war vogelkot auf den fenstern so dick das es ein zweiter sichtschutz war und es fanden Bauarbeiten statt, die uns nicht mitgeteilt wurden usw. das Frühstück war nicht wie es angezeigt wird auf den bildern, unfreundliches personal. Also in großen und ganzen NICHT zu empfehlen.

Avoid! Bed bugs!!!
BED BUGS!!! Avoid at all costs. Staff were very friendly and helpful however at about midnight while watching a movie on my laptop, I noticed something crawling towards my face over the pillow. I quickly swatted it and turned the light on to find a patch of blood and another bed bug sat next to it. Felt very itchy afterwards and couldn't sleep in the bed so slept on a very small, uncomfortable sofa. After finally getting to sleep for an hour my neighbours came back at about 4.45 and despite them being on the floor above and me having my TV on I could hear every word of their conversation.

Would not recommend. No AC/fan during a heat wave! To make matters worse when it was time to show me my room I was taken to a hotel that was not the one I booked under the guise that it’s their “sister” hotel. To make matters worse I had to pay a “deposit”‘that instead of being returned to me during check out I was told would be returned me after 5 working days. The worst hotel experience I have ever had in my life. I don’t see myself returning. Better if staying at ibis budget or some other hotel within a similar price range but much better quality.

Friendly staff, we were 'upgraded' from lucky8 to Best Western Greater London, which is 2 blocks away. Check-in took long to enable the room cards, but they work;-). Our stay was during one of the hottest Londen days, 30degrees celcius, and nog airco in the hotel rooms. So we had a very warm night with only air ventilation. Outside construction workers worked till past 23pm and that made an awful lot of noise. I would expect that this is normally not the case as the rooms are located at the quiet side of the building.

Der Preis war positiv. 474€ für 5 Übernachtung inklusive Frühstück ist sehr günstig für London in Ilford, nur 4 Stationen von Stratford entfernt. Die Unterkünft im Hinterhof wo wir auch unser Zimmer ( Superior 4 Bett- Zimmer ) bekommen haben verdienen nicht 3 Sterne. Ein 3 Sterne Hotel darf so was meiner Meinung nach nicht anbieten. Gegenüber der Eingangstür voller Müllberge von den im Vordergrund liegeden Restaurant. Schreckliche Aussicht auf die Verdreckten Hinterhöfen. Es stinkt und der Wind verstreut die ganze Zeit den Müll überall. Im Zimmer sind die Teppiche nicht richtig gereinigt un von der letzten Malerarbeiten sind die Farbspritzer noch überall vorhanden. Die Zimmer wurden zwar jeden Tag gereinigt aber nur oberflächlich. Frühstück war sehr Spartan und gar keine Abwechslung. Ein bisschen Anpassung sollte hier unbedingt stattfinden. Wenn man das englische Frühstück nicht mag hat man hier ein Problem. Personal sonst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wer nur zum Schlafen ein relativ sauberes Bett Brauch und sparen möchte kann es mit Lucky 8 Hotel probieren. Aber auch dann kein Zimmer im Hinterhof annehmen.

Wir waren entsetzt als wir unsere Zimmer betraten. Eins musste gleich getauscht werden da man vor Hitze und Gestank kaum atmen konnte. Dusche und Toilette waren voll mit Schimmel. Das Bett war für 2 Personen viel zu klein. Schränke waren keine vorhanden. Frühstück konnte man essen war aber meistens schon kalt. Für Familien mit Kindern würde ich diese Unterkunft nicht weiter empfehlen.

My stay
When I arrived, the on site parking was full. The receptionist, told me, to use the one across the road at Great Western. Their one was also full. But, luckily, a man drove off and I got his space. The receptionist, very kindly, helped to to take my bags up to my room. After she’d gone, I found the shower wasn’t working. She got someone in, the next day, and had it fixed. I found they offered a cooked breakfast, if I wanted it. Also, the staff were very friendly and my room was always kept very clean.
