Ok stay close to Paddington St. and Notting Hill
Whiles the hotel may not have had any of the luxurious amenities of a higher-end establishment, the outstanding service provided by the staff and the convenient location near Paddington Station and Notting Hill made our stay at London House Hotel a pleasant one. However, We were required to pay an additional £20 fee to check in three hours before the official check-in time. Charging an extra fee for an early check-in, especially when the room was already available, felt unnecessary. While we understand that hotels have policies in place to manage room availability and ensure a smooth operation, it would have been appreciated if the hotel had been more flexible. A more customer-centric approach would have been to allow early check-in without any additional charges.

Fint og ryddig hotell
God beliggenhet mellom Paddington og Notting Hill. Rommet var lite (som forventet i London), men hadde det man kan forvente av et hotellrom. Rent og ryddig. Litt kjølig om natten pga. engelsk byggeskikk med enkeltlagsvinduer. Heldigvis hadde vi vindu mot bakgården og lite støy. Den største ulempen er at det er pardyner på hotellrommet, noe som er en minus dersom man ikke er vant til det. De ansatte var hyggelige og behjelpelige.

Praktisk familierom
Vi bodde 3 netter i et familierom. Rommet var forholdsvis stort, med et lite bad. Hyggelig betjening og god service. Eneste minus var at rommet lå rett under resepsjonen, noe som medførte at vi hørte at folk gikk over hodene våre om natten.

Utrolig fin beliggenhet i Bayswater. Under fem minutters gange til tuben i Bayswater, dagligvarebutikker og restauranter, og ca 15 minutters gange til Paddington og Notting Hill. Hotellet ligger i en rolig og koselig gate med en stor nabolagspark tvers over veien som gjør området veldig hyggelig. Hotellrommet var ganske lite men fungerte fint. Senga var sliten og badet trenger en oppussing (så ut som mugg enkelte steder), men det var veldig rent og fremsto ikke i dårlig stand. Rommet hadde en mini-bar som var tom, som vi brukte som kjøleskap til drikke, praktisk. Vi fikk låne adaptere til stikkontaktene, i tillegg var det en «europeisk» kontakt på rommet. Veldig hyggelig personale. Vi spiste ikke frokost på hotellet, så den kan jeg ikke uttale meg om. Hotellet har ikke terrasse eller balkong, slik det kan se ut som på bildene. Ikke bar e.l. Totalt sett hadde vi et veldig fint opphold og vil definitivt vurdere å booke dette hotellet igjen ved en senere anledning!

God beliggenhet, ok hotell. Veldig lite bad med kontinuerlig ubehagelig lukt. Resepsjonspersonell var veldig reserverte og ikke imøtekommende. Sengene var små og rommet svært lite. TV-en var fra 90 tallet og veldig liten.

Positive surprise
I was positively surprised by the standard of both the hotel, the room and the breakfast area. I have stayed in many of the Baywater hotels and this was better than expected. Yes, the sink in the bathroom is tiny, but at least the bathroom is big for London standard. The mattress was very good. Room clean. Breakfast was good, nice area and friendly service, although the selection could have been better.

Fornøyd nok en gang.

Hyggelig personale og helt ok opphold
Betalte ekstra for balkong med utsikt til hagen men på ankomst var det skilt på rommet om at det ikke var lov å gå ut og utgangen ut dit var sperret igjen. Det var litt spesielt. Lite kjøleskap og A/C på rommet pluss liten TV på veggen og vannkoker. Lite rom med tanke på at 2 kofferter skulle ha plass i tillegg. Badet var helt ok. Frokost var frokostblanding, brød og brødrister pluss croissanter og muffins, hash browns, tomatbønner og små stekte pølser pluss kokte egg. Frukt, drikke og yoghurt, helt ok. Lå rolig til, 35 min gange unna Oxford Street, 12 min gange unna Paddington og 17 min gange unna Notting Hill. Bayswater Station brukte vi for å ta Metroen og det lå 6 min unna. Kjøpte Oyster-card som funker både på busser og circle line og district line. Bare fylle på ved behov. Fikk hjelp og faktisk ganske greit når man hadde prøvd seg litt frem, sparte mye penger også da taxi er dyrt og det er mye trafikk på veiene.

Noisy construction site
Although the facilities of the Hotel are suite ok, we were shocked that with no warning we were living in the middle of a construction site. Incredibly noisy from 8.00 to 16.00 with bulldozers and trucks right outside. Hardly a “ quiet backyard” that was advertised. Could not hear each other talking in the room due to noise and had to keep windows closed due to dust whirling up. Very little understanding from Front Office, was offered a pair of earplugs as there apparently was no available garden facing rooms. At the room rate we paid for two rooms at least free breakfast or some sort of compensation could have been offered. Have never experienced so little understanding for the unfortunate situation.

Rolig og greit.
Nyoppusset hotell i et rolig strøk. Lite trafikk, Gode senger, men hotellet har ikke avskaffet det gamle laken/teppe konseptet. Her var det i tillegg stor tung dyne med dynetrekk oppå lakenet som en skulle tre seg inn i. Irriterende, da det var 18 grader ute og alt for varmt til denne type dyne. Positivt med luftkondisjonering som fungerte som den skulle. Testet ikke frokosten, type kontinental, til ca 110 kr. Bedre tilbud i nabogaten.

Trives godt her!
Hadde det veldig fint! Er ofte i London, og vi sover veldig ofte her, da plassering er fin, og rommene er rene og greie, og prisen! Rommene er små, men man trenger ikke så fryktelig mye plass heller!
