+ The goegraphical location of the hotel is EXCELLENT! The subway, Hyde park, and a street full of resturaunts (incl. Pizza Hut) is only 5min away by foot.
+ The service at the hotel is OK. For the most part the staff seem to take their job seriously and that can't be easy in a place like this.
- The room standard is HORRIBLE! Let me take the time to mention a few of the problems with the room:
1. The floor should have been changed 10 years ago. Pieces og the wood are literally missing in some aread of the room.
2. The TV... its the smallest tv I have ever seen in a hotel room. My PC screen is bigger. The quality is also ridiculous, the angle from the bed/chair to the TV is beyond what the screen can handle. You have to stand in order to get a clear screen. It was also damaged, with a crack in its frame on the side and a busted speaker.
3. The air conditioner worked but it sounded like there was a astorm outside.
4. The bathroom had mold and the tub had cracksin it (I sincerely doubt its been sanitised properly in the past year).
5. The breakfast was small and offered little variation.. the orange juice was so watered out that it might as well have been water instead.
This hotel offers four walls a bed and a roof... as well as a really good location, but not much else. Use it if you must but be aware what you're in for.
How on earth they can claim 3 stars, I have NO IDEA.
