Surprisingly quiet.
I went four nights in June with my daughter. I was amazed to sleep so well while being in the middle of London. Bus and tube close to the hotel.

Helt greit Hotell. Buffet frokost med egg og bacon så det holder for meg. Liten tv på rommet for dem som skal se noe der. Skulle ønske det var en minibar/kjøleskap som man kan bruke til eget drikke. Forholdsvis rolig området

Valuta for pengene og fine rom
Dette hotellet gir god valuta for pengene. Ligger 5 minutter unna Southwark t-banestasjon og man kommer seg enkelt til feks Piccadilly. Flere restauranter og supermarked i nærheten. Hyggelig område. Resepsjonen var utrolig serviceinnstilt og hjalp til med det meste. Frokosten var ganske enkel, så hvis man forventer en stor frokostbuffet blir man skuffet. Men det holdt for oss. Fine rom, med mulighet for å lage kaffe. Ikke kjøleskap/minibar, men man fikk kjøpt drikke i resepsjonen. Hotellet anbefales!

Great staff, strange smell
Amazing staff, very relaxed and couldn’t be more helpful. Unfortunately, our side of the building had a very unpleasant smell. This included in our bedroom (304). It was very strong and appeared to be coming through via the air conditioning. I did raise this with a member of staff, who did say she would feed it back. It smelt like fumes, petrol, pollution. Since arriving home, I have realised that my clothes and suitcase have this smell lingering on them. Very strange and unfortunate, as otherwise, the stay was lovely. The breakfast was more than adequate and the bed was comfortable. If the smell isn’t resolved however, I fear it would stop people from returning, which would be a shame.

Fabulous friendly staff
Really lovely staff who were so helpful. Hotel in a convenient place. Breakfast busy but staff kept it well stocked and clean. We had a lovely stay and will stay again.

Wir hatten mit unserem ursprünglich gegebenen Zimmer Probleme und konnten trotz Silvester das Zimmer wechseln. Von Anfang bis Ende des Aufenthalts hatten wir einen super freundlichen Service! Die Zimmer waren ausreichend ausgestattet und sehr sauber! Die Umgebung war auch super — vieles war in Laufweite. Ansonsten ist auch die Underground-Station „Blakfriars“ in 5 Min Laufweg. Punkt Abzug gibt’s beim Frühstück, da dass Rührei wirklich unterirdisch ist. Die Wurst ist auch ungenießbar und bei der Aufschnitt-Auswahl könnte es etwas mehr geben, wie bspw Frischkäse. Trotz allem können wir das Hotel sehr empfehlen, da es ein hammer Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für Londoner-Verhältnisse hat und super sauber war!
