Excellent stay. We had everything we needed and very close to the tube which takes you straight to the center of everything - we will be back!

Average hotel. Clean but dated furnishings. Beds were hard and the pillows were too. Continental breakfast, again ok but nothing special. Didn't check out the local area but it seem to have plenty of shops and restaurants/cafes.

Nice place to stay
The room was pretty clean and the staff were very friendly. Plus the heating was very good! It was a great experience overall!

The location was very convenient, but the rest was not as advertised. No elevator: The stairs were narrow and had many steps, making it difficult to carry our luggage upstairs. Old towels: The towels in our rooms were thin, rough, and shedding. Low water pressure in the showers with hot water: The only way to have decent water pressure was to use cold water. Laundry facilities: There was supposed to be laundry facilities. The only laundry facility we found was a washer in our suite with no dryer. The washer was very noisy and slow. Broken dryer: When we asked the housekeeper (who spoke limited English) if we could use the dryer on the first floor, she showed us where it was located. We did one load of laundry with the dryer, but when my son brought another load of wet clothes to dry, the owner saw him and told him that there was no dryer in the hotel. The owner then shut the door to the dryer room. Uncomfortable mattresses: The mattresses in our rooms were old and worn out and uncomfortable. Poor communication and mistrust: We felt that the situation with the dryer was handled very poorly. The owner's actions created mistrust and inconvenience for us. She should have been upfront with us about the dryer and offered to help us find alternative laundry solutions. Overall, we would not recommend staying at this hotel. The lack of amenities, poor communication, and mistrustful behavior of the owner made our stay very unpleasant.

Great communication, warm, room refreshed each day, fridge in room was a bonus, free off road parking for 5 cars, very quiet and less than 5 mins walk from the northern line. Some areas of decor are slightly dated but it was clean, homely and suited us perfectly.

Very disappointing as the property was not as expected. Noise from room above as floorboards were noisy, no plug for the sink. Very musty smell in the corridor. Breakfast was terrible nothing to offer at all coffee was the worst I’ve ever had. I would not recommend this to anybody.

Very friendly proprietors! We were given a lovely bottle of wine upon arrival. Our original flight was cancelled and we lost a day, yet they held our reservation. I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone who needed a convenient location to North Finchley. Transportation is readily available to most everything.

We arrived late at the property and let ourselves in with the key left in the key safe which was fine. The room was clean, although one bedside light not working. Bathroom very clean. A duct-taped wire hung down from the TV which was a bit alarming. TV worked ok first night, but by second night we couldn't get it to work at all. Kept saying no signal. Seems it's an outdated aerial system and Wi-Fi was patchy too. When we came in Saturday evening plus our eldest daughter to do presents in our room, a woman barked at us from the back of the house, "how many people?" My husband went to explain she wasn't staying, just coming up for an hour. There was no welcome at all, or introduction. When we checked out Sunday morning there were also no staff apart from cleaners who had no idea what was going on. We wanted to talk to someone about the TV not working but the cleaners barely spoke English and there was a lot of confusion. All in all, I'd say it was clean and a convenient location, beds small doubles and pillows hard. The only plus was that our beds were made up during the day on Saturday. It was ok but we won't be returning.

My family of four stayed in a two bedroom apartment for a week. We had a great time as the apartment was so comfortable. It seemed to be newly renovated. The kitchen, toilets, shower booth, bedrooms, everything was clean. The living space is spacious so my friends who visited us also had a great impression. The staff were also very kind. We would love to stay here again when we visit London. Thank you!

L’alloggio è confortevole e pulito, si trova vicino alla metro (circa cinque minuti a piedi fermata woodside park in zona 4) in un quartiere molto tranquillo. L’host è molto gentile e disponibile. Sicuramente da raccomandare per il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Basic service was missing & promised not respected
The check in was weird as need to ring, wait for some time, then someone who is not front the front desk to welcome me. No where Hotels.com informed that there won't be a permanent front desk service to welcome guest. in 2 occasion the person trying to help don't speak english fluently. The positive, they gave me a studio, but it has a smelly corridor, towel were not in good conditions, TV channels don't work well, the pillows are bad/hard to sleep on, had 3 keys (which is sometime confusing). Am sure the management will take my feedback positively & try to fix it as this is the minimum expectation with right welcome/ check in, comfortable room/ pillow, good condition towel, TV channels work. To Hotels.com: i have never received my welcome gift of free bottle of wine. Felt cheated.

広くて快適！
とても快適で、部屋も広く良かったです。　市内からは遠いですが、ノーザンラインの駅にも近くまた商店街も歩いて数分で、駐車場もあり便利です。　キッチン付きの部屋だったので朝食はついていないですが、新しく大きなキッチンがついていて、普通の部屋だと思ったら２LDKと広く家族で行ったので助かりました。　値段とのバランスからお勧めです。

The hotel is located outside downtown London. Is far away from all the tourist traps. You get to experience life like the locals do. The metro station is nearby and it will take you directly into London. There are a lot of dining options a few minutes walk from the hotel. You will be impressed.

A Londra con il nipote
Guesthouse vittoriana,che si mimetizza in un quartiere di identiche villette. Zona molto tranquilla ma ben collegata con il tube al centro di Londra (30-40 min). Vicinissima c'è una strada con tantissimi ristoranti/fast food/supermercati, molto viva ma che non incide sulla tranquillità della guesthouse. Colazioni scarse. Personale gentile e disponibile
