Great Location - Bad Service, Tiny Bathroom
Owner did not communicate in a timely manner trying to check in. Owner was also rude and did not abide by their stated policy of holding bags. Pics speak for themselves, but the bathroom sink was barely big enough to wash your face/hands properly and many items were broken. Mold growing in bathroom. Excellent location - but the bathroom is very cramped and disgusting and there is no place to store your luggage or clothing in the room.

You had wrote a review before check in, we did contact you several time before your arrival with no answer. Regarding the bags storage we did propose and explained clearly, you had to leave it to reception, you checked out without leaving your bags , Regarding the pictures ,we wish you posted the entire room , not only corner zoom bathroom, the size for central London specifically knightsbridge, is really descend, regarding the cleaning everything was done professionally, you did not complain or mention anything during your stay, we are very unfortunate to had to host , particularly rude customers.

Great room, for a reasonable London price. Location was perfect for doing winter wonderland, natural history museum and walking to all the tourist hotspots.

great night stay in fabulous location
Having read the reviews, I wasn’t expecting much, however, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was. Very friendly staff and amazing location. I would highly recommend staying.

No heater! Nothing like the photo!
The hotel room is nothing like the Photo, the heater is not working. The window is not closed properly, the room is freezing cold! As I was working all day till 2am in the morning on 3rd December I have to sent my husband to check in for me, until he checked in we were realising it’s not a hotel, it’s just a basic room in a house, with no reception! As soon as I arrived I tried to find a switch of the heater but failed! Next day I have to tell the owner that I am not happy with the service they have provided, and I think it’s their responsibility to show my husband how to turn on the heater when he check in for me or leave a guidance inside the room! But there is nothing! And I am not the person to call at 2am for help! If I know the room is in that kind of condition I would not book it! I think they are seriously misleading their guest! As next day I have leave to work 7am in the morning I didn’t take any pictures, and I was exhausted, cold, and sick! I just want to leave as soon as possible!

Hello, I am really sorry to hear about the issue, please note our staff rectified the situation as soon as they were informed, Please note, you could contacted us at any time and we will have the support and help, the heater have only one thermostat, so i am not sure what kind of instruction is required. Finally please note we are clear about our listing, its basic rooms in Knightsbridge with 1/3rd of the price for normal hotel rooms, we are a guest house and provide the best service in our category. Check in wasn't great. Got a text at 5pm on the day. Hard to contact - the number on website didn't work. Then we ended up at a different address to that provided on the confirmation. It was 3 streets away but added stress. Then when we got to the address we had to wait 10 minutes because the shifts had changed. Even though we were then in contact of our location.

A great little find. Close enough to two underground stations which put you in easy walking distances of the shopping and museums that the area had to offer. The room was well laid out and gave you room to easily move around. The bed was comfortable and clean. The bathroom clean and a fair size. Thoughtful toiletries were provided e.g. makeup remover. The towels could been a little fluffy and more than one sachet of coffee but if that's all I have to give a negative about for one night it isn't that bad. We would come back.

Despite a misunderstanding at the beginning the stay has been very good. The staff has been going out of his way to help and is very competent. Number 18, the appartment was confortable and well equipped. I recommend the place if you need to stay in harods neighborhood.

There was a little bit of mould in the shower but further it was perfect. The staff was incredibly nice and the room wasn’t too big but for the price and the place you’re staying at it’s 100% worth it. I would 10/10 recommend and come back.

Good location
Great location for a 1 night or weekend, however the room could do with some upgrades. Not a room you would want to spend a lot of time in.

Great location, interior a bit faded and worn. Minor issue with hot water not working, however, staff very apologetic and quickly resolved. excellent service. Would stay here again if visiting Knightsbridge.

Location Tops!!
I visited London often. Harrods Room is a gem find in a most fashionable neighbourhood, namel, Knightsbridge. It was very reasonably priced. I was most pleased to find it being only a small block from Harrods and near to many amenities and transportation. The accommodation itself was very spacious and comfortable with clean new room and bathroom. To top it I even have a small private foyer to my room and bathroom. Mr. Moata Smith the manager who welcomed me was most helpful and obliging. He went an extra mile to accommodate my requests for an en-suite bathroom to my room which I required on the ground floor. He gave a choice of rooms on my arrival and I was free to pick the bigger room at no extra cost. Prior to my arrival he was prompt in his email responses to my various email queries and requests and was most reassuring. Some minor suggestions :- Improvement can be made to the main entrance of No.15 where the room I stayed was situated together with the provision of more purpose built sockets and lock chains to the doors of the unit and better bedding. Cleaning staff were helpful and friendly. One downside for anyone looking to stay in a hotel facility is to note that Harrods Room is split into various apartments in various blocks along the same street and is not comprised in a single hotel unit. This does not bother me as I was not looking to use any hotel facilities. I enjoyed my stay of 3 nights and would definitely stay there again and would recommend my friends too.

This is more like an Air B&B. We had a small, but adequate, room. Private bathroom. We shared common living room and kitchen space. It works fine. Location is wonderful, and is surrounded by high end Boutique Hotels. A few improvements could be made-hooks for towels in the bathroom, a bigger bathroom sink, kill the mold in the shower, only one lamp in the entire unit-get some more, put a night chain on the bedroom door. Wi-Fi is strong in the common space but unreliable in the bedroom. In summary-good value for the money, you get what you pay for.

No hot water & dishonest management
I paid for the first night, so I could check in early and arrived to see they had rented it to someone else! There was no hot water the first night or the next day so we could not wash. We were told we would be refunded & there was nothing. Do not stay here.

Hello, As we had explained you several times already, your room was not sold, our receptionist took around 10 minutes to arrange the check in for you and you was not making her job any easier. To make things clear, you had booked two different rooms, with two bookings, and that day which you did not come was the first booking and non refundable booking, regarding the issue with the hot water, once you had informed us that there was no hot water, nevertheless less it was Saturday, Our staff had sorted it out for you within an hour, we had issued you a voucher for that night, and apparently you was not happy with that and you had asked for a full refund for the three nights, even though you had stayed there, in the second night when you contacted us our management had offered you a refund for the third night if you prefer to leave which you did not and stayed that last night with us. So regarding dishonesty, our management were professional with you and had tried to follow all the procedures to make sure you have been treated right and in a fair manner, finally when you had sent a message complaining that if you did not receive a refund you will write us a bad review, well thats why we can response for such reviews and users can judge the situation them self. In another note, please note you have booked a budget room with an average price of 150 Pounds a night, while other Hotels sells the same type of rooms in the same street starting from 300 Pounds.
