Bra rom. Dårlig bad. Dusj kunne ikke reguleres varme på og do kunne ikke skylles ned. Veldig god frokost og grei restaurant. Flott med fergetilbud. Dårlig det ikke var noe kiosk/ automater man kunne kjøpe vann og brus på.

More like a 3 star hotel
A hotel below what you would expect from a chain like Double Three. The rooms were nice and big, but the air connection somewhat uneven, making it cold in one part of the room, and hot in the other. You have to wait a surprisingly long time to get hot water in the shower, and the toilet was stupidly problematic to flush. The bed were comfortable, but the sheets were overused, clammy and felt somewhat cheap. The staff were far from the friendliest or most service minded we have encountered, rolling their eyes when you ask for directions on how to get to the train station, not able to answer basic question about the area, and seemed more interested in speaking with each other than helping the guests. And just to make that clear, we didn’t ask for much… The housekeeping was proper, but they didn’t replace amenities like Kleenex even though it was almost depleted when we arrived, and even when we pointed it out to them. The cocktails at the bar were nice, but the bartenders seemed overworked and tired. The bar also ran out of fruit (!) lduring our stay, so they couldn’t serve us several of their signature drinks. PLEASE NOTE: They can’t make the Hilton cocktails in commercial that plays on the monitors on the ferry, so don’t ask. And there is no single soda wending machine in the entire hotel, so if you want something to drink after the bar closes, you are out of luck. At the hotels.com web page it says 24 hour room service - this is NOT correct. After 10.30 PM there is zero.

Nice quiet hotel. Excellent beds. Good breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. Free ferry to Canary Warf for shopping and dining. We stayed at this hotel because of an event at Printworks nearby.

Flott beliggenhet ved themsen, men litt tidkrevende å komme seg til undergrunn. Anbefales hvis du ønsker å bo litt utenfor sentrum.

Flott hotell i rolig område av London
Flott hotell i rolig område. Fint å bo her med barn. Praktisk med hotellet gratis ferje som tar deg over Themsen hvert 10.min. Fantastisk god frokost. Eneste minus fra oss blir at dobbeltsengene på familierommene var for smale for 2 personer og også alt for harde. Ordnet seg med et par ekstra overmadrasser. Personalet var svært behjelpelige og servicevennlige.

Familie på 5 i familierom
Vi hadde et fantastiskt opphold, nydelig mat og drikke. Sentralt og samtidig litt utenfor. Veldig fint med båten over Themsen som var inkludert for hotellets gjester. Alt i alt helt perfekt!

Bra hotell, god service og bra frokost. Familierommene var ok, men litt slitt og lytt mellom rommene. Tidkrevende og litt tungvint ogå reise til London sentrum. For å komme til undergrunnen krever dette en kort båttur og 10 min gåtur til Canary Wharf.

Not so happy
Hotel was ok and good that they have the free boatservice. Easy to get to the jubilee line. But the restaurant had terriable service and food. Waited 20 min for a simple avocadotoast and the next day I ordered stone baked pizza and was given a pizza that could come from Tesco. Not good! This made me go out for breakfast instead. Room was fine but the floorboards made a lot of sound so I felt sorry for my neighboors. So in total: Good but not coming back

Our recent stay at the DoubleTree Hotel was overall positive, with a few areas for improvement. We checked in on 11 May, where we were welcomed by a very helpful receptionist, setting a good tone for our visit. However, the end of our stay did not meet the same standard. On our departure day, 13 May, we had to check out at 5 AM and encountered some challenges with the receptionist on duty. He was initially reluctant to help us adjust our pre-arranged cab timing due to a last-minute change in our flight schedule, stating it was impossible without even checking. It wasn’t until a follow-up request that he reluctantly made the necessary call, and even then, he struggled to find the contact number, which was disappointing. Additionally, we were informed at check-in that the cab fare to Gatwick Airport would be between 90-100 pounds, but we ended up paying 225 pounds. This unexpected increase in cost was not communicated beforehand and significantly affected our overall experience. While the hotel itself provided comfort and the initial service was excellent, the inconsistency in service quality and transparency regarding costs at check-out left us with mixed feelings. We hope for improvements in these areas for future guests.

I like to start a review with the positive.I enjoyed that the premises were renovated warehouses on the river. My room had a great view. It was challenging to get a king room with a walk in shower. The beds were smaller than advertised however they were comfortable. Maybe I am just spoiled with the US counterparts. The front desk team was very helpful for the most part. One young woman, who helped me with my room, really stood out but I did not get her name. The breakfast was the meal I had there daily and that was really nice. Mr. Vasimin Bratu, the restaurant manager. went above and beyond to make me happy with my GF needs and whatever else I needed. The man from Sri Lanka who cooked my eggs daily was especially patient with my various requests! The room was cleaned daily and and the hotel staff quickly responded to things that needed to be fixed like the shower drain. Now to the not so good. What I found especially petty and cheap was that the hotel refused to leave bottled water for their esteemed guests daily in the room even though there was a placard on the table and I quote" Stay Hydrated. Hilton Honors members (which I am) can enjoy complimentary bottles of water".Non members pay 2.50GBP." Even in the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja, Nigeria where I stayed for 2 weeks kept me supplied with water. I will take this up with corporate because it marred my visit and just should not happen in a hotel this price and caliber.

This is a classic England property. The rooms don’t compare to US resorts but we loved our stay. We had a few issues and the staff was gracious to help us. The boat was convenient but at the end of our stay the pier was closed for repairs. Bummer!

This hotel is tired, shabby and in need of some TLC. All which can be overlooked if you've paid a relatively cheap price for a stay. C10 bus to central London is directly outside the hotel which is a bonus. But having no hot water in the morning is unacceptable. I had to have a cold shower! I reported this to hotel reception upon checking out and they looked like they couldn't care less, and there was no offer of any kind of compensation for this. Won't be back! 😂

Det ligger lite "off" och det är meckigt att ta sig till byn, inga restauranger, hotellet har enen färja som går till canary warf Frukosten var ok, men ingen nutella 😭

We sent our clothes for laundry and they lost 2 of our pants. every time we went to the reception, they told us that they will let us know,but they did nothing. When we got to the room we had toiletries,but when we ran out they didn’t restock. It is dangerous going into the bathroom because there is a step and many people might not see. What I liked about the hotel was the food and how easy it is to take the Uber boat to get to Westminister.

The place was great, especially being on the docks and view was beautiful. Rooms were quite small and the turn arounds reminded me like a puzzle, but over all it’s a great place. I enjoyed the breakfast was terrific.
