Greit hostell litt utenfor sentrum.
Kopper og glass på rommet var ikke rene. Det var også flekker på vegger og gulv, samt det ene hvite lakenet var flekkete. Det var også veldig lytt og mye støy fra utsiden. Ellers var det gode senger, stort koselig rom, stor romslig garderobe og fint bad! Veldig behjelpelig betjening ved sjekkinn ved det andre gjestehuset. Ca firehundrede meter å gå fra innsjekk til rommet, noe upraktisk, men overkommelig.

Dette var et gjestehus med 8 rom. Smale trapper, vanskelig med kofferter. Fikk rom på toppen, fint familierom med plass til 4 personer. Rent og pent, nytt bad. Passet fint for oss. Det bør opplyses på Hotels.com at det ikke er noe resepsjon eller frokostmulighet på dette gjestehuset. I tillegg bør det opplyses om at man må hente nøkkel lenger ned i gaten. Fikk mail om dette dagen før avreise, men greit å opplyse om det på nettsiden. Et stykke til sentrum, men det går buss rett utenfor.

Kjempefin opplevelse
Ankom hotellet i striregn og døra var låst. Ringeklokke til Clapham Guest House som da var hovedhuset 400 m nedi gata var ødelagt så måtte gå dit for å få nøkkel stod det. Hadde vi visst dette på forhånd hadde opplevelsen egentlig blitt 100 % ! Dette bør stå i beskrivelsen av hotellet på nettet. God service, tlf på hotellet bort til Clapham. Trangt bad, men dette er jo England. Kjempe stort og fint familierom i 4 etg.

Da vi kom til Clapham guest house, var døren stengt, sto et tlf.nr som vi skulle ringe og hente nøkkel et annet sted. Dette sto ikke på hjemmesiden Deres noe som var meget skuffende. Måtte da gå tilbake for å hente nøkkel etter en lang reise.Møtte stengt dør, gardiner nede, ble meget skeptisk. Når vi først fikk hentet nøkkel og kom til rommet, ble jeg overrsket, da det hvertfall var rent. Det setter jeg stor pris på. Hotellets beliggenhet var som så, men vi tok buss til Sentrum og var der hele dagen. Prisene var bra. Informasjonen der vi hentet nøkkel var bra.

Koselig opphold
Trivdes godt på Clapham Guest House. Rommet var lite og beskjedent dekorert, men rent. Hadde felles bad to etasjer ned. Disse var ordentlige og rene og ventet aldri på tur. Koselig område med diverse butikker og restauranter/cafeer i nærheten. Buss utenfor huset tar deg rett til sentrum (87).

I really enjoyed Clapham Guest House. It was quite minus the traffic outside. But, it was great at night. There is no Central A/C. But, I did not miss it because it was so cool with the wind factorvfrom the window. Phillip was wonderful at the front desk. The staff was available virtual via phone. It was safe and secure with keyless entry. Most accommodations in London do not have elevators. I had a short amount of stairs to go up. But it was spacious and quaint for a solo traveler who want to see all the attractions of London. The only thing is the front desk is a 8 to 10 min walk/8 blocks from Clapham Guest House. It is on the same street which is helpful. Easy to rebook another stay to do some more sightseeing. It is fairly close to alot of places for tourist. I will definitely come back and stay here again to see attractions that were not open to the public. Restaurants and stores all around the location that are open late.

Arrived late as was on call doctor and needed to be close to hospital . Place all locked up . Called number given and was greeted by a warm friendly lady . Booking sorted eventually although not the Hotels fault . Great nights sleep

A pesar de que el checking de llegada se hacía a 200 m de la guest house en su vuelta te dan facilidades para poder dejar las llaves en el buzón de la misma casa, también cuentan con adaptadores para tu cargador, no necesitas comprar. Buena conexión, lugar súper limpio y tranquilo. Sin duda volvería!!!!

Great location. The triple en-suite was spacious and nice. Across the street is a 24 hr Co-op to buy drinks and snacks. The bus stop into the city is in front of the guesthouse. So convenient! Clapham and Brixton are such a cute neighborhoods with many eateries and bars.

Had a three night stay recently in the guest house and it was better than I expected. After having read the review of the place I was a bit nervous. We arrived to the sister guest house a bit early as our flight was first thing but the staff were lovely and ensured us that the room was already ready which was great. The room itself was clean and just was we expected a bed, tv, wardrobe and toilet. The location of the guest house is a bit out of the way but the bus stop is right outside the door and train station about a 5 minute walk away so no hassle. My only complaint about the whole stay would be the fact that you could hear the guests above walking around through the night and talking which isn’t really anything that could be fixed but everything else was great. Would stay again.

The property is being renovated. When we first arrived it was utter shock as we had not been told that the property was being renovated, The workmen were very nice as they did not expect us. There was dust everywhere as we walked into the room.

Fire alarm 6 times first night. Whole building creaks and clatters whenever anyone moves. (Wood Framed). Fire alarm went off because of leaking pipe Monday. Alarm turned off on Friday. Dreadful. (Picture on file). TV 15" up in top corner of bedroom so small.

Were given a quiet room unfortunately there was no window just a fanlight over the bathroom door. There could have been another bedside light as there was only one for both sides of the bed. We couldn’t get the television to work either. The accommodation was adequate for our needs that night.

Heel vriendelijk personeel. Goede locatie van het appartement. Prima openbaar vervoer verbindingen. Prettige kamer, grootte is prima voor paar dagen. Ligt aan een drukke weg, hebben wij niet als probleem ervaren. Enige minpuntje is de badkamer, daar was wat schimmelvorming aanwezig

The location of the Chelsea Guest House is perfect to explore the city center: bus stop at the door step, few minutes walking distance to tube and train stations therefore it is lovely to hear that you enjoyed the ease of the public transport.
