«We only had a very short stay but found the property to be a beautiful old farmhouse with fantastic old features, lovely open fire with plenty of logs and character. Old worn stairs, exposed wooden beams and not a right angle in the place ! Nice and quiet and well out the way. Doggy was very welcome as well.»

«We had a great time at this property. The five properties gave us space to be together and still have our own space to retreat to when needed. It was a very wet weekend in Wales but we made the most of it. The Pool and Grove cottages and The Gallery were a bit tricky to keep warm as you needed to keep the log burners going and use electric heaters upstairs. «The photographs of the property do not do this house and gardens justice. There were 14 of us staying and it’s the best house we’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and entertain, with an Aga and separate oven. Seating in the house is plentiful and the grounds are stunning. We could easily walk for dinner into Bala as well as stroll down to the lake. The children had a swim in the leisure centre as the lake is a tad cold in May! It’s worth every penny to stay here. ...

«We had a wonderful time with a group of young people at the start of a 26 week employability and life skills programme. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen is at the heart of the property and we could all sit around the table to eat our meals.The location is great for walks and the garden good for exploring. «Wow wow wow, we absolutely loved this little find, 'The Stable' is a beautiful place to stay, the surroundings are stunning, the accomodation is clean, beautifully furnished, excellently equipped and the host was lovely. The road leading up to the property is a bit of a bumpy one with a few potholes but the hosts prepare you for that in the well informed directions to the property. We will DEFINITELY be returning again next year, just perfect.»
