"Overlooking the market square it is well appointed. Staff were very good albeit they wanted an early night and closed the bar at 11p.m. only bar food on Mondays and Tuesdays and that was good. The crumble sweet was delicious. Standard Rooms were adequate. Showers a bit poky. Overall good value."

"First time stating in hotel although haven to Dales many times before. Overall it’s fine but not fabulous. Food is good, tasty especially the breakfast . Personally preferred the bar food to Palmers. Service was variable but most staff were very attentive. Room was comfortable, especially the bed, ..."

Richard III Hotel
"The only good thing about Richard 111 hotel were the staff, But the room we had was not very clean, and urgently in need of some maintenance work, and judging from what we saw the rest of the upstairs could as well, In the end we didn’t stay the night ,we took are bags back to the car and drove home! ..."
