«We had a really lovely stay at the Cart Lodge in early October. The hosts kindly left us some local bread, eggs, jam and biscuits which was a lovely welcome. Everything was very clean and well looked after. The beds very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and warm. Firewood had been provided, however we didn't need to use it. TV had lots of options. It would be nice to have an earlier check in time than 4pm, but everything with the property and hosts was fantastic. »

«The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. «Back to reality with a manic first week since our October half term break, we definitely realised how much the Beach House at Smugglers Cove was such the perfect place to get away to enjoy a much needed change of pace and scenery. "Positiv: big room and bathroom, great location Negativ: very tilted room, so much that vi had to sleeep the wrong way on the bed. Very much noise from the ally(were the window was). Very warm and stuffy - maybe becase of the little fridge in the room. Very steep stairs to the room. No view from room. This is not a hotell, no service at all, no reception and no follow up from staff. The breakfast was ok, don’t order det very dry pancakes. "
