«Cozy home. Needs a bit of updating. For example the cookware was in bad shape. No lighters or matches to get the wood burning fireplace going. The promoted games in game room, some were broken. Other wise a good place to stay with family.»

«This place was cold because the thermostats don’t truly work so much but my room had a heater and that was fine. The place is big for multiple parties and the pool table is so tiny. It’s great for skiing because it’s so close to northstar. Liked the place a lot.»

«The house was so adorable and it was spotless. I have stayed in some sketchy places at Tahoe but Stephanie and Duane have gone out of their way to make this little gem so comfortable and it met every need. It was quiet and comfortable. I also loved that they let my dog stay.»

«Wish I could leave more stars because the house is in a great location, but unfortunately the property is poorly managed. There was no toilet paper anywhere, not even tucked in a drawer or cabinet. The only roll of paper towels was almost gone and there weren't extra trash bags. We found the dog bowls under the sink, but who knows when they were last checked because one contained disgusting sitting water. «My parents, dog and I had a great time at your cabin. It’s a very beautiful place to stay, lots of birds, squirells, chipmunks that my dog had fun barking at and chasing daily. The beds are pretty good and comfortable. The area itself is peaceful and the row of trees by the road just made it perfect for a morning walk. it’s a short distance to the lake and restaurants. The only caveat is that my dog met the mice on our first night. It didn’t bother or show itself again. Overall, it was good!»

«Very easy place to stay. Very little stress. Had most of what we needed to enjoy a few days of skiing. Excellent location. Kitchen could use some updating (old pots and pans), but not a dealbreaker. Just don’t plan on making any intricate meals as you’ll likely not have everything you need. One major bummer: the hot tub didn’t work. It got warm but not truly hot. This bummed us out. If we could be assured the hot tub is working (as in it gets hot!), we would absolutely stay here again.»

«We had such a wonderful stay at this house! Ginger, the owner, was very nice, responsive, and went the extra mile to make sure we had a comfortable stay. She gave us a tour of the house when we got arrived, gave recommendations to restaurants, etc., and had refreshments waiting for us after our long drive! «We had a wonderful stay at this townhome. It's incredibly clean and comfortable with large bedrooms, bathrooms and closets. It's perfectly maintained and well appointed. The grocery store is steps away and only a 5 min drive to DiamondPeak ski resort. Even though it's close to everything the location is beautiful and quiet. Helen, the host, is so friendly and communicative. We'll definitely be staying again and would highly recommend.»

This is the only Tahoe rental that we will never rent again. 1) Interior is very old - lights don't work, blinds are broken, master bath tiles are coming off, towel hanger is coming off the wall, several wires exposed (not sure any of them is hot!). 2) Kitchen - plates/cups are chipped, cookwares are very limited. «Property was clean and was accurately listed. Our arrival was delayed due to flights. We got to the property at 1:00 AM and the door code did not work. Grateful that there was a 24-hour service line. They got us into the property in about 5 minutes. Location was convenient and plenty of parking.»

We thought the communication with the rental company was great. We asked for an early check in day before and they were more than happy to accommodate. «Perfect for a couple or small group. The bed is a new King size bed with memory foam, I have a bad back so I appreciate having a new good mattress. This is a very nice condo right next to the hiking trails into the mountains. The 2nd floor has a nice kitchen and living room and there is a bedroom with 2 smaller beds and a full 2nd bathroom on the 3rd floor. Very clean and comfortable and well maintained; we would stay there again if it is available next time around»
