«Overall good stay. Location was good. Larger area for all guests to be comfortable. Heating was great. Dishwasher did not work. Messaged property manager and they insisted it was working. There was no power going into the dishwasher at all. No solutions throughout the stay.Had to use external lighter for the gas stove. Gas fireplace in one of the living room did not work.One of the room had mouldy ceilings. Very noticeable. »

«This property was an absolute disaster. It was old and shabby in the extreme. We had to leave immediately upon arrival as there was an awful smell inside. I discovered the source of the smell in a kitchen bin which had not been emptied. It contained a rotting dog bone and meat offcuts covered in maggots. «We had electrical issues on 3 occasions with the electrician required eventually due to losing power in the kitchen as apparently the dishwasher was faulty as well as dubious taped wires a concern. «Location was excellent. Very quiet, plenty of parking for our 4 cars. Bedrooms were a good size. Great amount of crockery and cutlery for our family of nine. Prompt responses from our host.Weather was mild so heating was adequate, no central heating for colder weather. No a/c. Backyard was overgrown so we didn't go outside. Ensuite looked tired and there was architrave missing over door.Breakfast provisions were some cereal, tea, coffee. No milk, juice, bread, etc.»

«The place was filthy, stains on the carpet dirty windows. Broken doors & the garden was over grown so couldn't use it. Also 2 cars in garden that host said were being moved, but after looking properly in to it they have been there for months. Photos used in the advert on website are years old, from when the property was sold 2 years ago, so very misleading. Had no communication from host. Would not recommend staying here at all. We were very disappointed.»

«The house and property were absolutely beautiful—very clean and perfect for a family stay. The only minor feedback would be that the kitchen could use a few more oven trays and dishes. We were also woken at 7am by the gardener who turned on the sprinklers and then began mowing the lawn. While we completely understand the need for property maintenance, it would have been appreciated if we had been notified in advance.»
