Moringa House at Balenbouche Estate, on 70 acres of beachfront property

Balenbouche Estate is a renowned guesthouse, organic farm, heritage site and family home. The 70-acre grounds feature a plantation house, yoga barn, and 18th-century sugar mill surrounded by ancient trees, pastures, and wild beaches. Dining, massages and tours are available. The South of the island is the most beautiful and authentic, with many attractions nearby, including the pitons, snorkeling, hot springs and waterfalls. All our eco-friendly cottages (Waterlily, Banyan, Almond, Frangipani, Calabash and Moringa) are built without screens and cooled by the tropical breeze.

Moringa House is our newest popular accommodation and features two separate studio apartments (upper and lower levels) that can be booked separately or together. On VRBO, only the entire unit is available for rental. It is ideal for couples travelling together or families with older children or someone in need of their own space. Each apartment offers a king-sized bed with a large mosquito net, a bathroom, a seating area and a kitchen. The downstairs apartment has a king bed, a sofa bed in the living room, and a larger kitchen and outdoor shower. The upstairs apartment has a smaller kitchen and an additional veranda with a fantastic sunset view.

The kitchens are equipped with a small fridge, gas or electric cook top, toaster oven, hot water kettle and French press. Floors are tiled throughout. Tall ceilings with an open design and concrete walls help to cool the building. Overall, with its unique architecture, great view, amenities and decor, Moringa cottage is a favorite for our guests!
