«Family that runs it is fantastic! Rooms are clean and comfortable with a view worth it alone! Quiet and the landscaping is beautiful! The restaurant is a must, I run a beef ranch and the ribeye was definitely one of the top 3 I’ve ever eaten! Will recommend and will be staying here again!»

«This is a beautiful resort property and our room was spacious, modern and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the balcony and waking up to the sound of birds and the nearby river. The restaurant is excellent for dinner as well as breakfast. It’s a bit out from the center of town but an easy taxi away.»

«The personnel is great! The hotel is quite new and everything works nicely. Beds were good, good size rooms and bethrooms. The breakfast is served in a hotel nearby - it is ok, though not the best I’ve had, but the view is great. Very central as well, close to everything in town.»

«My stay at Villas Vilma was great. The place is clean, comfortable, and in a really convenient spot for getting around La Fortuna. Adriana and Daniela at the front desk were both incredibly welcoming and helpful, which made everything even better. Be sure to stop by the soda "diner" across the street—the food is delicious and it’s a nice way to enjoy the local neighborhood vibe. Overall, a solid and friendly place to stay while exploring the area.»

«Bodde på La Rosa de America både i forkant og etterkant av sykkeltur med en gruppe. I gruppa hadde vi også første og siste natt var der, så det var en viktig grunn til å velge dette hotellet. Trivelige småhus i en fantastisk flott hage. Rolige omgivelser og kort avstand til flyplassen. Over tid ville nok maten ha blitt litt ensformig, men der var også mulige spisesteder i nærheten. Litt langt å gå til nærmeste tettsted, men der gikk buss hver halvtime. Trivelig betjening.»

«Honestly if I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. It’s a 10 min drive to town, 30 min walk. The attention to detail here was amazing, the staff cleaned my room daily. The shower was SOOO hot and the private jacuzzi was used daily. If you want a relaxing, beautiful comfortable place to stay look no further. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. There is security on site and reception is reached through what’s app. »

«Nice hotel a few km outside la fortuna. Walking distance to the waterfalls and volcano hike to cerro chato. The staff was helpful and always with a smile on their faces»

«Stayed in a bungalow. It needs modernisation, everything seems quite old, except the shower room seemed a bit newer. The sheets had stains on them so we requested they change them. Breakfast was decent. It’s a bit difficult when not all of the staff speak/understand English. »

«Det er et fint hotell, rent og pent. Bassenget er fint, kaldt og velholdt. Men det er utrolig bråkete der. Veldig lytt mellom rom og fra utsiden og inn. Vanskelig å få en god natt søvn.»
