Oceanfront Villa, shared pool, Walking Distance to Dive Shops, Restaurants
Hamlet Villa 2, also known as Ocean Blue, is located in a small resort area. Ocean Blue is 2 stories, with 4 furnished bedrooms, aircondition and private balcony. With excellent facilities and amenities close by, it’s easy to see why visitors love this oceanfront villa in Bonaire! This four bedroom, four bath villa is an island retreat with calming blue accents throughout.
The popular dive site, The Cliff, is only 100 feet from the beach and there’s a dive shop right next door and diving schools within walking distance. Enjoy the incredible diving and snorkeling before returning to your villa for incredible views.
Step out on the balcony from your bedroom or take in the ocean view from the veranda that’s outfitted for an afternoon of eating and relaxing or catching a stunning sunset. Inside the villa, you’ll find three bedrooms upstairs and a large bedroom downstairs, as well as the kitchen and living room. Up to eight guests can be accommodated in this fine vacation rental and the unit shares a pool with the other units of the Hamlet Oasis Complex.

A stay in this villa gives you access to the Captain Don's Habitat water access for swimming, diving and snorkeling.

Additional costs will be charged if consumption exceeds 35kWh per day.

Another wonderful stay at Ocean Blue

What an exquisite property! This is our fourth or fifth stay in Ocean Blue. The owner and property managers are great- accessible, responsive, and easy to work with. The kitchen has been remodeled since our last stay, making the main floor much more livable. It now has a dishwasher! But the prize is the outside and the view. We have stayed in other villas in Bonaire, but Ocean Blue is easily our favorite. Highly recommended.

Excellent rental property. Plenty of room for a group, easy access to both water and road. Property management was outstanding and responsive to our requests and queries. The villa was very well equipped regarding all aspects. Definitely will recommend to others and have already considered a return visit.

Location, location, ocation

This was our second time visiting Bonaire and funny enough we stayed next door 6 yrs ago. Both houses were sold. We knew we wanted to be in this location on the island!!Kitchen had everything we needed plus some! (We cooked every meal in the house, except the last night's dinner.) I thought hot pads were missing, but we found them o last day. Berry very attentive and offered to come and fix dishwasher. (It was new but missing panel with words to use properly.) We figured it out. We were a dive snorkel group and set up was perfect and we were only 1 block away from Good Friends Dive SHop. Fridge even stocked with some basics, including beer. Def held us over until we found store, which was one block away.The table outside was perfect for all meals and a cribbage tournament. Ourdoor seating good. Inside did not have seating for al of us, but we brought in furniture from master on first floor. We were not inside much, but liked to watch a movie after a day in the water.We loved it and hope to be back.

Gorgeous views! On the water!

Great location, on the water, beautiful views, though no beach access. It’s next to Captain Don’s dive shop but YOU CANNOT DIVE WITH CAPTAIN DON’S as they only allow divers staying with them to dive there. You can eat at their restaurant and use their dock steps for a shore dive. Buddy Dive is conveniently next door to Captain Don’s. Nice parking spot. Has a place to rinse dive equipment & clotheslines. Lovely back porch. Clean. Will return!

A Perfect Spot!

This is a lovely 4 BR home with a stunning view of the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. You are a 5 min walk to a pier from which you can dive or snorkel to your heart's delight. The reefs teeming with tropical fish are just below the property! We found the kitchen to be well equipped, the patio perfect for watching the sunset, and the beds to be comfortable. You are a short drive to the restaurants and stores in Kralendijk. Highly recommend!

Great Location and Accommodations

We loved staying here and especially enjoyed proximity to snorkeling which was basically at our doorstep. The accommodations were excellent and included everything we needed. Our hostess Monique was super friendly and was always available while she was on the island. Best VRBO host ever! She made sure we had contact information for the property manager when she wasn't here. We also were really pleased with how close we were to town and restaurants, grocery shopping. It was a nice, quiet location which is our preference since we didn't want to be right in the middle of downtown. We rented a car during our stay and I'm really glad we did. It just made it easier to be very independent and not have to rely on any transportation even though many things like grocery and restaurants were in walking distance. Keep in mind there is only 1 bedroom on the first floor and 3 upstairs. This wasn't a problem for us but you should be aware if you have any mobility issues. The beds were very comfy and so were the lounge chairs outside for sunbathing. We loved the huge patio and location of the outdoor couches and lounge chairs. They were high-end lounge chairs which we appreciated since we spent hours sunbathing each day :). I highly recommend this place and would most definitely return!

Beautiful villa on Bonaire!

This beautiful villa was perfect for our scuba/snorkel vacation! The kitchen was well-stocked with every item we needed. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was ideal for the group. The outdoor space looking over the water had all sorts of tables/chairs for relaxing and eating, with a direct view of the sunset every night. Both the owner and property manager were quick to respond to needs/requests. The drinks/snacks stocked for our arrival were a fun discovery and a little taste of Bonaire. I would highly recommend this villa.

This property is currently undergoing renovations, and there were some issues related to that. However, the location was absolutely perfect for our group, and the outdoor spaces more than made up for any issues we had with the interior.

Great location

We enjoyed our family vacation in Monique's wonderful villa. The ocean front view and sunsets are incredible, and there are multiple dive centers within walking distance (Captain Dons and Dive Friends Bonaire). The property has been renovated and has all new appliances. The property managers Berry & Marion met us at the airport and were so nice and helpful. They helped us picking up our rental car and took us to the property and went over everything. They also met us at checkout to make sure everything was alright. Thank you.

Practically Perfect

My wife and two daughters (16, 10) were recently SCUBA certified, and I was excited to introduce them to the amazing underwater world around Bonaire. Pre trip communication was easy and fast with Monique, and she and Marion met us at the airport and took us directly to the property and left us with a bag of groceries-beer, wine, soda, bread, butter, chips, etc. The property is beautiful and exactly as pictured. The house is located in the corner of the Hamlet Oasis community, so its very private. Large air conditioned bedrooms and with comfy beds. A well stocked kitchen adjoins the living area (air conditioned), but the outdoor space is the best. The outdoor area is covered and steps from the ocean, with a large table that seats 6 easily, and plenty of comfy seating for relaxing. The location is amazing as well. It's a 25 meter walk to Capn Dons Habitat which has an amazing pool, Rum Runners restaurant, and two docks with steps into the ocean where you can start/finish dives. Great for night diving. The Cliff dive site is directly in front of the house. There is also a nice rinse station and an outdoor lockable room to hang/store wet dive gear. There are several dive companies/shops within a couple hundred meters of the house. Dive Friends (we used them this time-they were great), Buddy Dive, and Capn Dons. There is a supermrket a few hundred meters north of the house and Kralendijk central is a short drive south. You really can't go wrong with this property.

just the nicest place to stay!! beautiful and great location

the communications were completely great and we loved the house. we were even met at the airport to follow our host to the house - so welcoming! the place was big and spacious with covered outdoor dining and waterfront with chaise lounge chairs. Location between Capt Don's and the Divers Friends dive shops was so convenient. (There was loud construction from next door and some dust but definitely not the owners' fault and we were warned. Noise stopped by 4 pm daily)

The property was perfect for our family of five. The view was incredible, and the house has all of the amenities we were looking for during our vacation. The hosts were incredibly attentive, and even stocked the house with snacks and drinks so that we had something available upon arrival. Really great experience and I would gladly do it again!

Great stay

I don't usually do reviews but the unit was great. Everything was as advertised. Even small things like the towels being good quality and having an ample supply. There were even clothes lines and clothes pins there. I would highly recommend the unit AND the management company. Paradise rentals was very easy to deal with and communications were answered very quickly. If this unit is not available for our next trip to Bonaire we will definitely use Paradise rentals to find something for us. Great folks. Very accommodating and very personable folks.

Great Vacation

Reef in front of property has tons of fish! Saw a turtle, two flounders, and 3 eels just to mention some rare sightings. Spent hours snorkeling! Easy access from Captain Don’s dock. Rum Runner’s is fantastic, really close walk! Make reservations ahead for dinner. Watching sunsets from the front of the house was a nightly event!! Beautiful! House was great!

Great house for a dive trip destination

Great location! House layout is great (4 bedrooms) and the view is fantastic. Easy access to local services and of course, diving locations. We experienced the pre-tropical storm/hurricane version of Hurricane Ian, receiving a couple of inches of rain and 25-30 mph winds. There are no weatherstripping seals on the doors, so we did get a lot of water coming into the bedrooms, but it was an easy clean up. Door locks work but they are difficult to operate. Kitchenware (e.g., knives, pots) could use an upgrade. With that said, overall it was a great experience with minor complications. Really enjoyed our time here.

Great location for everything

Property is in a great location. Near restaurants, grocery stores, dive shops, etc. Pretty much everything we needed. Little reef out front was perfect for beginner snorkeling. Would definitely stay here again.
