«This interior of this house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was great - close to our family who live in the neighborhood and to many restaurants nearby. The interior of the house is lovely - beautiful wood floors, top notch bathrooms, and a large kitchen and dining area. «The description was off when the owner described the property as new. It was however newly renovated, somewhat. He had explained to us that the front door needed a little help to open. It in fact needed to be lifted and pushed fairly hard to open and close. What lighting there was was very poor with several of the bulbs burnt out with no replacements. «Pulled up to an overgrown lawn / weeds, leaves all over the deck and a dead mouse on the front step. Although the inside is cute and modern there are dead insects on the floor and live insects on the ceiling. Mouse trap near trash. Saw a cat and opossum in the yard during the day. One of our guests got woken up due to clawing in their locked closet in the middle of the night. (Something larger than a mouse!) He had to move to the couch for the rest of the night. Would not stay here again. »

«House was great and spacious for our group. There were two parking spaces and a good size backyard. The backyard is not fully fenced but the gaps are adequately blocked. The house is in a great location very close to the university and downtown. Overall, we would stay there again.»

«Great, cute home very convenient to UT-Knoxville. Lovely home built in 1899. Very artsy and cozy. We only stayed one night (arrived after 10pm, left before 9am), but it was great for our family. The area felt safe (across from a charter school), and on a walkable street. We didn’t bring our dogs but with its fenced back yard, friendly outdoor cat, and available dog crate- we could have easily done so and will remember this spot in case we return (if the son chooses UT-Knoxville!). «Quite and comfortable. Good amenities. General cleaning was good but the property can use deep cleaning - the fridge was not clean, some cabinets were dusty, there were some cobwebs. The property is good value for money»
