«1. This is camping in the back hills. Worth the trip. It is as advertised. bring your own blankets and food that can be warmed on a wood stove. 2. The area had a recent fire but is recovering nicely. 3. the camp itself is worth the trip 4. Communication from expedia to vrbo to Dan Sasquach was severely lacking. »

«The property was beautiful, the cabins and various other structures were beautiful, the many tile mosaics were , you guess it, beautiful. No complaints at all. The goats were sweet lovies, we met the greatest dog , one of the residents we met was kind and generous and showed us around. My only complaint is that we only had one night in the area! Maybe someday I’ll make it back to the west coast and stay again! Thankful for the kindness of this off grid community for sharing their space with us.»

«Overall great experience with our rental, communicate well in advance as understandably Dan will not always be able to reply as promptly. Enjoyed the creek/swimming hole. No surprises and our cabin was very private and enjoyable.»

«As long as you set your expectations to truly camping in a tree house you won't be let down! The directions were so helpful, we had a bit of confusion about where to park, and it is a cold water only place. But it was such a treat to camp in a tree house, to take the dirt roads and truly be off the grid, and the cold water added to the experience. «Things I wish I knew: (1) how far the hike was between the parking lot and greenhouse. I was exhausted by the drive only to find I had to haul my stuff up a steep incline. I would have prepared differently.
