Duck Yeah: 5 Master Suites, 415 Ft to Beach Access

Duck Yeah is located 415 feet from the beach access in the Sea Pines community in Duck, NC. Besides being so close to the beach, there are plenty of restaurants and shopping available nearby. [Note: no dogs or other animals are allowed in this home.]

Beds: 5 King Masters, 2 Bunk Bed Sets; 14 Towel Sets provided

TOP LEVEL:
The Great Room has beautiful, spacious views from its large windows and wide decks that overlook the pool deck below. The living area includes a Tower Room with a small sitting area. The dining area (seats 10) with the kitchen bar counter (seats 5) and a small breakfast table (seats 4). The kitchen has a 5-burner cooktop, wall oven, built-in microwave and 2 dishwashers. There is a half bath on this level. An elevator connects all levels of this home. Also on this this floor, a large King Master Suite with deck access; its master bath has a soaking tub and separate tiled shower. [Note: gas fireplaces are not available for guest use.]

MID LEVEL:
On the level, a den is at the center with a regulation size Pool table. Four King Master Suites flank the den, two on each side of the floor. Each of these bedrooms has a shower in its master baths; one shower is tiled and barrier-free. All bedrooms have access to decks either at the back or to the front of the house.

GROUND LEVEL:
The Lounge area offers more space to relax with a kitchenette with bar seating for 4. A bedroom with 2 Bunk Bed sets will sleep 4 children easily. This room has access to a full Cabana Bathroom (shower/tub combo) which has door to the outside for the pool area. Outdoors, the private saltwater pool measures 14' x 25' (pool open May to mid-October; pool heat available for an additional fee) and a hot tub is available for adults. Don't forget about the sand volleyball court for family-friendly competitions! An EV (electric vehicle) charger is available in the carport.

EXTRAS:
The Sea Pines neighborhood has a community pool and a large tennis court with pickleball lines which is available for guests to use.

Hva som finnes i nærheten

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The host was a rental agency, all was done electronically.The house is beautifully furnished the kitchen has everything you would need for a large crowd. Toilet tissue and tissues were skimpy we had to buy a supply for all of the bathrooms. A short walk to town and the beach, great location. Beds comfortable, so great they all had full bathrooms.

Location and house was outstanding; convenient walk to shopping, restaurants and beach. It appears that the house is continuously being renovated. One suggestion would be to upgrade a mattress in one of the second floor bedrooms. It would also be helpful to have a working vacuum cleaner and other cleaning utensils for unforeseen situations.

Overall, great stay!

Overall, we had a great stay and truly appreciated how kind the staff were prior to and throughout our visit. The location was wonderful, and the home had plenty of space for our group.That said, we did come across a few maintenance and cleanliness issues that future guests and the management team should be aware of. Will not list them all out here as most were small/minor things, but the one main thing I will mention as it needs to be addressed and people should be aware is that the sofas in both the main living area and the lower level were in poor condition. They were very uncomfortable and in serious need of replacement. In full transparency, we didn’t report these “issues”during our stay as they were mostly things that would need to be addressed between guests. We’re sharing this feedback in hopes that it helps improve the experience for future visitors, because the home has a lot of potential and the staff were truly fantastic.

Duck Yeah House

Hello: We very much enjoyed our stay at Duck Yeah. We had a celebration of life for my father at DuckWoods with friends and family and it was a beautiful weekend. The feedback I would provide is the need for better cleaning throughout, deep cleaning of carpets, the kitchen floor was very dirty upon arrival, and there were no trash cans in the bathrooms. We also stayed at the house for meals and there were no potholders and one small thin dish towel. The oven motherboard may need to be fixed as the oven would not get to the desired temp. The convection oven worked fine. The icemaker also had mold on it. As mentioned we had a lovely visit but the house could use better cleaning and maintenance.

Special little paradise

This was our 2nd year in a row staying at “Duck Yeah”. We loved it so much last year we had to return this year. We love the master suite’s and the location the most. Such a convenient walk to the beach but also close to the shopping area in Duck. My 3 granddaughters had so much fun in the pool and my sons had such a great time on the volleyball court. Then with just a quick walk to the pickleball court they continued their rivalry. Thanks for giving my family such a wonderful week in Duck. We plan on returning again next year.

Fun Week Getaway!

Perfect property in a perfect location. Seconds from the beach and a short walk to shopping restaurants, etc. All amenities were perfect. We had a wonderful stay!

Great spot

This was a great house in a great location. The pool was excellent for the kids. Easy walk to the beach or town. Front row seats for the July 4th parade. Everything was clean and well maintained, Maintenance was responsive when we had a problem.

Family Week

My family and I stayed here and it was wonderful ! We had 13 adults which included 5 couples. The elevator was a huge help for one of the couples who had mobility issues. The kitchen was fully stocked to make great meals and the dining table was big enough for us to have a family meal together every night! We will definitely be coming back.

Perfect multigenerational house at the beach!
