«The term Luxury cottage is an insult. The pictures are very misleading. This place is so run down. The staff you can tell is trying hard but obviously the owner cares nothing about customer service or being honest. Our "Luxury cottage" had no microwave, no satellite TV and the kitchen and living room were exposed to heat as there are no windows only loose screening that let lots of bugs in. The couch and beds sit on concrete reminiscent of city jail. I realize this property is in the tropics but ...

Four Points By Sheraton Nairobi Airport

10/10 Utmerket

"Very nice hotel and helpful staff!!"

Nairobi Safari Club by Swiss-Belhotel

"Best hotel I have ever stater at in Nairobi. This hotel dosent only have nice facilities but also outstanding human beeings. I have stayed here so many times now so I want to lift up Ezikiell at breakfast for beeing a great host and taking care of me. The same goes for the best bartender in Nairobi Nestus, Florence, Irene, Mary, the whole crew for that matter. Cant wait to meet you again soon"

Argyle Grand Hotel Nairobi Airport

"Bodde 1 natt i fm layover safari. Rommet i 4 etasje var rent. Min personlige preferanse er ikke tepper men vinyl på hotellrommet. Mindre praktisk løsning for døren til WC og bad som åpner inn i rommet og mot litt trangt plass foran vasken. Veldig hjelpsomme og hyggelige personale. De bidro med sitt smil på at oppholdet ble bra. Spiste lunsj i hoved restauranten , som også serverer indiske retter"

PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort & Spa Mombasa

"5* for the staff: Starting with Luis at the reception to Kirenje your most warm hearted member of staff in my opinion, Nagudi at the pool loved by the little ones as well as the adults. Damiang at F&B is so kind, patient and helpful. Observed him serving tea in VIP style to a group of 5 year old girls and it was heart melting. At the Kids Club, Knight, Elizabeth, Happy and the rest of the team are an absolute delight. And the animation team were wonderful as well. 3* For food on a full board basis. You lacked variety. We basically had the same breakfast for 7 days apart from the two days with Swahili theme. At dinner food was cold or warm but never hot. The drinks were too basic for your class of hotel. The facilities were top class, water park was fantastic and so was the pool and the beach as well. The gardens are really well maintained and the views from the sea view rooms is breathtaking. The room has an over average setting and we loved that there was good Internet and a smart TV. The set up by the animation team for the World Cup final was top class and appreciated. In summary, I would come back because of how everyone made us feel at home, but I wouldn't go for the full board meal plan as it is not worth it."

Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa, Mombasa

10/10 Utmerket

"Good hotel right on the beach, with a varied setup of different pools, 4 restaurants and a beach bar called Coco's. Stayed for 8 nights. Good service standards throughout, but the all the staff at Coco's were particularly great. Will absolutely consider going back. Only slight downside is there are very few restaurants in the near area outside the hotel itself. For that, a quick and cheap Uber ride on the terrible gravel dirt road over to Nyali is recommended."

Crowne Plaza Nairobi Airport by IHG

"Perfect hotel for an overnight stay during a Nairobi airport layover. The shuttle service was fast, efficient, and felt very safe. A special thanks to Henry, our driver, who was very helpful. Check-in was quick, the room was good, and the bed was exceptionally large and comfortable. Highly recommended!"
