«Fantastic location near so many sights and shops»

«Simplemente genial.

Our room was comfortable and immaculate. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the rooftop. It was such a wonderful space to relax, take in the views and enjoy the atmosphere of Kyoto. «Staff was so helpful! Location was perfect!»

«Fin beliggenhet. God frokost. Lite trenings rom, men hadde manualer. Take-away meny var veldig dyr, 40.000 Yen for 4 personer. Bestilte biff og and. Fikk bare kjøtt. Ikke noe tilbehør.»

«I didn't expect that it would be a whole house just for myself! The service was splendid, very polite and helpful. The house has everything you need, i.e. all the dishes. The interior is traditional and, very comfortable and nice.»

«The Aoi Hotel is located centrally to great restaurants, shopping, local attractions, and beautiful views. I was pleasantly surprised to be far enough from the main hustle and bustle to have peace and quiet, but close enough to walk to enjoy Kyoto. The staff is helpful and friendly, just a chat away using their cool interactive pad accessible in the room. Our room had a washer/dryer and they provided detergent, which helped us get reset for our time in Kyoto. Did I mention it’s spacious! We had ...

«Hyggelig hotell i en veldig fin del av Kyoto. Fint, stort og ryddig rom for en familie på fire.»

«We loved staying here and would definitely stay again if we visited Kyoto. Very friendly and helpful staff, amenities available to us were really useful and our room was perfect for what we needed. We also loved the convenient location to local temples, shopping, restaurants and multiple local train stations which made getting around very easy even with our baby. Very glad we chose to stay at this hotel and would recommend to anyone.»

«Excellent service by the hotel during our stay. Highly recommend »

«Sowaka was amazing. Great location, beautiful hotel, incredible food, perfect staff! Do take the 5:45 am tour to Kiyomizu-dera with the incredibly knowledgeable hotel manager. A wonderful and unique experience without all the tourists around.»

«Rent, vennlig, sentralt»

«A wonderful and truly authentic place that allows you to fully immerse yourself in Japanese culture and tradition. The real highlight, though, was the food. I came in with no expectations and was completely blown away by both dinner and breakfast. Dinner could easily pass for a Michelin-starred dining experience, and the yuzu porridge served at breakfast was so memorable that I’ll definitely try to recreate it at home. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!»

«Very nice place close to the market and stations. Nice personell. And a free light breakfast»
