«This is a beautiful house with a spectacular kitchen, overlooking Hilo Bay and favorite local surf spot. Feels clean, comfy, and tropical. This is our second stay in this lovely spot. Thank you Randall for such easy communications and hosting. It’s only a five minute drive into Hilo. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. We highly recommend it.»

«House was great, plenty of room. Lots of fun things for the family, bikes, pool table, etc.. Nice to know host was close but didn't need anything. House is not far from the coast which is nice, bit of a drive to store, etc..Very quiet and peaceful, especially in the mornings on the big deck.»

«The property was exactly as listed. The location was so serene and the landscaping was lush. We absolutely loved the visits from the chickens and listening to the coquis at night. The night sky was incredible due to no streetlights. The electric fireplace was perfect in the morning to take the chill off. «We got to the house right as hurricane Hone was approaching the island and loved watching the waves from the safety of the home. We were able to see turtles and dolphins from the living room! Also very quiet and relaxed neighborhood. Note that the closest beach access is 40 min away in Hilo.»

«This cozy home was ideal for our 2-night stay to visit VNP as it was very close to the park entrance. The home was well-equipped for our stay; however, the grill did not heat up to a high enough temp to allow us to cook steaks we purchased for dinner. We had to bring them in and cook them under the broiler. The outdoor spa was an added plus for our grandsons. »

«I feel spoiled to have stayed in this house. It’s situated on immaculate grounds, about 20 min north of Hilo. There was plenty of space for my family of 5 (kids 13, 11 and 6). We really enjoyed viewing stars, the close proximity to Akaka Falls, and the lush front yard area. House is nicely appointed, had everything we could have need and was a lovely getaway!»
