«We had a fantastic time here. Our host greeted us upon arrival and asked if we would like to participate in an authentic tea ceremony. We got dressed in provided outfits, and the kids loved making matcha tea with the host. We loved the two levels, the indoor and outdoor baths, and the washing machine (kids use up a lot of clothes). «Fantastic hotel and 2 bed suite was amazing. We wish we’d booked longer. The happy hour was exactly what we needed, too! The free sake tasting and craft beer was so nice. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Mimaru has a great set up and we’ll definitely use it again when we return to Japan.»

«We loved our stay at Saju Kyoto. We arrived early and they looked after our bags until it was time to check in. When we checked in we were served matcha tea and Japanese cakes in our room. The room was very tiny but so comfortable, cosy and traditional. The futons were the most comfortable beds we had during all our time in Japan!

« Charming historic machiya with all of the modern appointments! We just loved our stay here. I reserved 2 of the townhouses as we are a family of 6. 2 adults with 4 boys ages- 9,11,14,15. «Best experience from start to end, as we stayed there for a week in July. The hotel is new with high qualities of all meanings, - good location, lovely and very service-minded staff, beds too good and bathroom as its best. Reasonabel price, no meals but plenty to chose from in the nearest neighborhood. You´ll feel lucky to stay in this hotel (only got 12 rooms), and we will definitely be back.»
