«It is a beautiful hotel, but considering the price I would expect more. Lack in information regarding meals and times. Might be a language problem, but google translate would easily solve this with an information sheet... all in all a good stay, but with this location and amenities it could have been better.»

«Excellent service. I forgot my bag on the train, and when I arrived, they immediately picked up the phone, handled the situation, and arranged for us to get the bag back the very next day. I’ve never experienced service like this before — truly fantastic.
Dinner was wonderful as well: beautifully prepared, cozy, and served with great attention to detail. The garden view was stunning, and being able to take an evening stroll there after dinner felt very luxurious — a truly classic Japanese ...

«Great spot in Hakone, nice building, good food and great service. Several private hot sprigs to enjoy, both indoor and outdoor. We were offered a free ride to nearest train station when we left, which was great. The only thing that was a little strange and which we have never experienced in Japan, was that we were not allowed to enjoy any drink or food we brought with us. There was no mention of this on the booking, only after we had arrived.»
