«The room was huge, and the king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. those were the only positives of our stay. The property is outdated and desperately needs renovation. The walls were scratched, the baseboards were deteriorating, and there was a terrible smell throughout the hallways. Cleanliness was a serious concern. The property appeared poorly maintained and inadequately cleaned. There was visible evidence suggesting a mice infestation, particularly in the entrance hallway near the ...

«Soup downstairs was delicious as was their gf bread. Man who checked me in helped me bring my bag up those steep stairs! Room was cute. Loved the giant (fancy) bottle of water, oatmeal…(too bad I couldn’t try the muffins as they have gluten) but what nice unexpected complimentary snacks. Could be loud potentially, it is above a pub, not an issue the night I was there»

«The main issue with the property was that the basement room smelled SO strongly of mildew and the stairs to get down there felt so steep and unsafe that one couple in our group ended up booking a hotel to accommodate themselves. This was truly more like a converted crawl space than a bedroom. In addition, the sofa bed in the living room was very uncomfortable, even for a sofa bed. The host did not have any location recommendations as she shared she has not lived in the area for 10 years, and ...

«Good location, good bus services, great breakfast, lots of shops nearby, I would go back to this hotel»

«The rooms where not clean. No toaletbrush in bathroom. A small fridge could be nice. The beds where good.»

«The worst thing was the bed, which was very uncomfortable and I woke up with back pain every morning. The second thing is that there is a live music bar on the ground floor, which was very loud and made it hard to sleep. Overall though it was affordable and the staff were really nice.»

«after a bad first met, we talked with the owner and had a really good stay! they were helpful, smiling and a really good bunch. if we are going to london again we would definitely stay there again!»

«You get what you pay for»

«AVOID – I paid for a room that was never provided I would strongly advise others to avoid booking this property. I booked and paid for a two-night stay through Hotels.com for 9–11 September. I had a confirmed reservation, but when I arrived at the property to check in, the housekeeper told me that they were fully booked, there was no room available for me, and they had no record of my reservation in their system. I therefore had no accommodation despite having already paid for my stay and had ...
